I think Kara is right — there is an engaging quality to Lacy’s voice.
But she needs to get it stronger and make it happen.

Last week, Kara urged her to try something like Sixpence None The Richer's "Kiss Me". And that's exactly what she's doing now. Sounds okay. Almost like the original.
Randy: Kara, interesting choice (laughs) Except for a couple of moments, felt like karaoke. You didn't do anything special with it.
Ellen: You're such an up person and I thought that was a good choice. Adorable.
Kara: You have this very unique tone in your voice. This song brought that back to the audience. But I have to say you have-to-step-it-up. This is you. Happy, smiling. Step in the right direction.
Simon: Marginally better than last week. Compare this to what Crystal did and there is a huge, huge difference. Sang a happy song, but no one is going to remember it.
