Three girls await their fate in the same room:
Charity Vance, a blonde girl from Arkansas.
Tasha Layton, a worhip pastor.
And Mary Powers the annoying (and arrogant) rocker chick.
Simon: (whispering to the other judges) I think she's interesting because she's older.
To: peggybac
I’m sure she tried to blow the backup singers...
To: Cudjo
Mary will not be one to approach for an autograph. She already has an attitude.

Why do they pick a song about “going home”?
To: freedumb2003
Oh no. Poor Hope is off key and singing a kiss of death song, “Home.”
To: CASchack
Poor Hope didn’t sound very good.
To: retrokitten
That’s what I thought too...and she seems to be really sweet.

In the same room are Lloyd "Succesexy" Thomas, the dock worker. And the singing police officer.
The cop seemed to do a better job.
In another room is Hope Johnson, the School Lunch Girl. She's unsure of her performance.
To: retrokitten
I don’t care for Daughtry.

I was thinking the same. If she makes it through, then cuteitude is trumping singitude (which would be a crime with some of the really great talent we have heard).

“I hope you ate a big breakfast, Billy.”
To: retrokitten
This girl Crystal can win. She is awesome. She's definitely one of the best so far.
Hope the girl with the paralyzed mouth (that sounds horrible) does well.
