I am more concerned about Peeping toms and pedophiles.

I gotta get one for inspecting tower and antenna connections from the ground. Every guy on the block is gonna have one for air to air combat, too! :)

I always like to see technology that can be used by someone to invade your privacy or aid in terrorist activity.

I agree! Damn AlGore for inventing the Internet!

This is how Skynet starts.

John taught us ways to dust them.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Figures. I’d have to buy an I-phone with Internet too.

Expensive toy but, it would be fun.

Because it is open source, you can make money if you write some gaming software for it.

Also, if you live near a nudist colony, you can earn some extra cash on peeper movies!;-)

But there was one man who taught us to fight, to storm the wire of the camps, to smash those metal motherhuggers into junk. He turned it around. He brought us back from the brink.

No nudist colonies but, I know of some choice sorority houses down at the university.

You don't need internet. It makes it's own WiFi AP that you connect to and then control the copter with the iPhone.

Cool little device.

All the “alphabet agencies” have a bunch on order... :-)

Naaahhh! They’ve already developed them, just a lot smaller and better. This is just the consumer version for spying on your own neighbors and/or boyfriends/girlfriends and wifes or husbands... LOL...

Check youtube videos for “Raven UAV Iraq” or Afghanistan. The Raven is a hand-launched UAV with a few thousand feet altitude and a ten mile radius. You can’t hear or see it.

Private groups have created their own UAVs for work along the Mexican border. Very effective and cheap using COTS tech.

The US Govt is already prototyping “suicide drones” that will carry a few pounds of high explosive for hitting targets without even needing a Predator.

Any civilian can basically do the same with COTS tech.

I used a medium sized UAV to kill a politician in my second novel. The pilot took over control and flew it into the target individual instead of just using it to take pictures.

Any hobby shop can be used to build a UAV.

Tell me a technology that cannot be used for good or evil. Cell phones? They are used to set off bombs. Should we get rid of them? Autos? You get the picture.
