Gals, at first I thought it was the formation of the bark of the tree. But, upon a second look - I realized it was an aftual owl, sitting on a branch of the tree~!

Thanks for the Happy Monday ping, Amy as I’ve just completed a day at work. It’s nice to go to a rest stop at your place as the world’s events approach us on the FR freeway. Pleasant things to look at and think about at your place and the folks here are always friendly. Your sarcastic humor #1933 doesn’t hurt either. The potential horror of the airline terrorist is fading in my rear-view mirror as I get up to speed back on the freeway having enjoyed the pleasant stop at your place.
See you again.

Got a note from snugs to let you all know that her dad is coming home from the hospital. I don’t have a ping list, so if you need to spread the word, feel free.
She said that they would have a delayed Christmas dinner. I know he’ll be glad to be home!

I’ll try and stop by, my life is a lot busier than I ever expected it to be.
My quilt guild keeps me busy with charity projects and the church some times.
What I dislike the most is all the grand kids live hundreds of miles from us. Fl, Nashville, KY and GA. There are 2 young grand/great grand girls I get to sew for now, Halle is 9 tall and thin as a bean pole, Madi is 5 she’s the great grand and as cute as a button. I get to make purses, tops, princess dresses, teddy bears things like that and I’m loving it. Drop by my face book page Gail Honadle and look at the photos. Madi is the one with all the curls and princess dresses. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?

In Which Realm Do You Live?
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2
I was working with a petroleum company in Singapore when an inspector from another country visited. He came to check on a cargo of oil destined for his country, which was at war. When he heard the shriek of fighter planes overhead, he instinctively ran for cover. Embarrassed, he explained, Sorry, I thought I was back home. He did what he would have done had he been in his war-torn country.
For the Christian, its easy to dive back into old ways of sin out of sheer habit because of the many temptations in this world. Even though we are in Christ Jesus as Romans 8:1 says, we sometimes live as if we are in sin.
God paid a very heavy price to take us out of the realm of sin. He did so by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering (v.3 niv). We are now to be governed by the law of the Spirit of life, not by the law of sin and death (v.2). The apostle Paul urges us to set our mind according to the things of the Spirit (v.5). This means that we take our direction from Gods Word as guided by His Spirit.
When youre tempted to dive back into old sinful ways, will you instead allow the Holy Spirit who resides in you to help you live more consistently with your standing in Christ?
Born of the flesh, conceived in sin,
Then born of the Spirit, new life to begin;
Ive been washed in Christs blood and this will suffice,
Praise God Im His child, Ive been born twice! Brandt

Little Girls
Author: Karen Barnes
Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs
And all the precious memories of times that once were.
Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow
And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.
Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls
And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.
Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,
And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

That is so serene and beautiful! Love it.
I saw where no one had posted and I found this little girl and a poem to go with it and started working on it a long while ago. Well, something went wrong with my tables graphic and I had to delete and do the table graphic again. I do believe I have been working on it for 35 minutes! I am not kidding. Then when I got it on forum, I found your snowy graphic! I actually was just filling in time....LOL!

Lovely..Is it snowing at your house, Billie?
I dread ice storms but we will stay above freezing throughout the rain.
I would have enjoyed a brief snow, though.
Wishing you all a happy Tuesday.
