I was only comparing it to BSG-GINO in the production work. Dark lighting & the dark side of humaity, shaky handy cams, and the like. Now I could understand the darkness up until they flew into a sun's corona to recharge the reactors, you'd expect lighting to be working now.

I don't need weekly mayhem and enemies at the gate; I do enjoy the subtleties of the position they find themselves in, and character development they seem to be front loading.

The twist of the communication stones has possibilities, but I feel they're using it too much. Still, given the position they're in, using such a capability early on would be a natural course.

All said, yea, I'd like to see them gain more control over their vessel, and be able to chart their own course. Although it seems like the ship is learning about them as they learn about it, and it gives them as much as it thinks they can handle, and maybe knows what they need more than they do. That makes it tedious from a purely entertainment point of view, but not necessarily from a story telling point of view.

Still, they're going to have to liven things up a bit or they'll lose the instant gratification crowd, if they haven't done so already.

I think Col. Young wants Dr. Rush to put his money where his mouth is, take one for the team, and sit in the dan chair if he thinks it’s so important..

I wonder how this show will be polished to a squeaky PC clean shine in 2010...

It already has been. Manly man Marc Singer, A.K.A. The Beastmaster and Micheal Ironside in the 1980s series were replaced by Murphy Brown in the new, also instead of white guy Freddie Kruger the 5th columnist is a black guy, the women mouthpiece traitor reporter is now a white guy, the whole Jewish Holocaust thing is missing

Do you think the Latina woman was impregnated by the V’s or by her fiance, the black dude (what’s-his-name...)?

Its in the flu shots, folks.

My wife and I could not believe that the show includes a conspiracy to inject everyone with alien chemicals by hiding them in contaminated flu shots.

They went there. I can't believe they went there.

At the end, it seemed as if they referenced to “Anna”, the fleet leader, as “Mother”. A variation of “Big Brother”?

“Do you think the Latina woman was impregnated by the V’s or by her fiance, the black dude (what’s-his-name...)?”

Her fiance is a Visitor. And with out some serious genetic intervention it should not be possible. So many issues with a reptilian based species “interacting” with a mammalian species. I don't care how much fake skin they apply.

well, just watched it on tivo. what a rip. still no lizards in view, and not much of anything else going on.

why are they really here, how about some real action, i mean something, anything. one measly warehouse blown. not gonna stop the V's with that. at least Anna coulda been nude, or in her lizard outfit. oh well.

the last shot wasn't bad. a billion lizard ships headed to earth. guess we are having company.

anyway, V is pretty much a bust IMHO.
