Looks like it's up $$ 11.60 right now. I was thinking there were some contracts expiring today or something like that.

They are very recognizable for those in the know.
I was at a gun show last weekend, and some of the tables were buying/selling PM’s as well as guns, and they were offering spot for gold or the melt value for silver.

I think the odds are very good that the dems shove this through. The Senate has only blown one of these things in ten years and it does not look good to me for a failure.

Personally, I honestly do not think it matters which party is in charge. It’s too late.

I just slaughtered my first ever steer. 480 lbs of meat for a total outlay (including feed) of $420.

when I buy a “monster box”, it is always a 500-coin box of US Eagles right from the mint via my dealer. Those coins come in 20-count tubes, handy for portability for selling or for giving as gifts. It weighs nearly 40 pounds, I think; anyway, it’s hefty.

any way I can find out what the price of silver was the day after the election? I’m hitting a roadblock, only getting historical charts going back 100+ years. Obviously, I’m doing something wrong here.

That’s at least $40k in jerky! Start thin slicing!

You won’t ever see 15 bucks again. Obama’s got 3 more years.

I remember my father quit smoking around 1964. At the time a pack of cigarettes was about 50 cents. Every time he normally would buy a pack of cigarettes he would save a silver dollar instead. He is still alive and he still has them. A LOT of them. The FACE value is huge...

If a person wanted to buy two pounds of 24kt gold, could they have that shipped to them or pick it up at a bank somewhere? No problem having it shipped to you. I have done business with these guys:

My local coin shop was great. They even have the coins sorted by type and their spread was reasonable.

Buy coins. Gold US Eagles or Canadian Maple leafs one oz. coins. Never "invest" in silver or gold -- buy and safely keep the coins in your possession and not in a "safe deposit box" either.

What can you tell me about ‘Monex’? A cousin reccommended Platinum instead of gold right now, with siler as equal hold.

The people we bought the property from and my wife kept telling me it was a God thing, but it took a few more “coincidences” to convince this Doubting Thomas. It has been just too smooth.
Honestly, I was not even aware of the $8,000 tax credit when we bought. I just cashed the treasury check last week. It’s how I got the silver. ;)
