Your U.S. House & Senate have voted themselves $4,700 and $5,300 raises for 2009.

1. They voted to not give you a S.S. cost of living raise in 2010 and 2011.

2. Your Medicaid premiums will go up $285.60 for the 2-years and you will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is -$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife.

3. Over 2-yrs they ea. get $10,000.

4. Do you feel SCREWED?

5. Will they have your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes - food, etc., increase. NO WAY. They have a raise and better benefits. Why care about you? You never did anything about it in the past. You obviously are too stupid or don't care.

6. Do you really think they care about you? SEND THE MESSAGE-- You're FIRED. IN 2010 YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO GET RID OF THE SITTING CONGRESS: Up to 1/3 OF THE SENATE, AND 100% OF THE HOUSE.

MAKE SURE YOU'RE STILL MAD IN NOVEMBER 2010 AND REMIND THEIR REPLACEMENTS NOT TO SCREW UP.

It is ok to forward this to your sphere of influence if you finally tired of the abuse.

They voted to not give you a S.S. cost of living raise in 2010 and 2011.

Yes, and they were right to do so, because that program is not only bankrupt, but actually has unfunded liabilities near $30 trillion.

2. Your Medicaid premiums will go up $285.60 for the 2-years and you will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is -$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife.

Yes, and they should go up even more. You aren't entitled to freeload off the rest of us just because you're old. Medicare is already in negative cash flow, and also has $20 trillion in unfunded liability.

3. Over 2-yrs they ea. get $10,000.

Chickenfeed compared to the $trillions they'll spend on Pork and entitlements to get your vote, and chickenfeed compared to the insider deals in real estate, tax planning, lobbying gifts and other legal but ethically questionable money they'll earn during the same period. Their net worth -- on fairly modest salaries in one of the most expensive cities in the world will probably increase by $100,000-250,000 during that same period.

So, by all means, please get yourself outraged over $5,000/year.

4. Do you feel SCREWED?

Yes, and old people who never paid one dime into Medicare who think they should be outraged because taxpayers aren't ponying up enough for their health care make me feel even more screwed. Everyone should feel screwed by octo-/nona-genarians who constantly demand MORE... MORE... MORE!

5. Will they have your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes - food, etc., increase. NO WAY. They have a raise and better benefits. Why care about you? You never did anything about it in the past. You obviously are too stupid or don't care.

What in the bloody hell are you talking about? Most of our Entitlement problems arise because money is being transferred from poor young people to rich old people. Those old people vote in huge numbers in every election and feel ill-used because while 17% of the country can't find work, they're being asked not to take a raise -- that they've done nothing to earn -- for one lousy year. Never did anything? Puh-lease.

6. Do you really think they care about you? SEND THE MESSAGE-- You're FIRED. IN 2010 YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO GET RID OF THE SITTING CONGRESS: Up to 1/3 OF THE SENATE, AND 100% OF THE HOUSE.

No, I don't think they care about me. And I wouldn't have to care about them if 14% of my income wasn't going to Washington for Social Security and Medicare, and 38% of my income wasn't going to Washington for Federal Income Tax.

MAKE SURE YOU'RE STILL MAD IN NOVEMBER 2010 AND REMIND THEIR REPLACEMENTS NOT TO SCREW UP.

Step away from the caps lock key. It just makes you look dumb.

It is ok to forward this to your sphere of influence if you finally tired of the abuse.

I've been tired since 1972. Hasn't made any difference. Idiots keep voting for Democrats.

| NO INCUMBENTS IN 2010

| NO INCUMBENTS DEMOCRATS OR RINOS IN 2010. Fixed free of charge.

| Don't re-elect anybody !!!

If they're Conservatives, I'm going to; JUST TO PISS YOU OFF AND MAKE YOU BREAK YOUR CAPS LOCK KEY!!!!!!!!!

Good post, and I agree. When I said similar things myself not too long ago, I never imagined the uproar I had created. If this thread catches fire, I hope you brought your flame suit, soldier.

Politics makes for strange bedfellows, but since the start of the "Town Hall" protests (several of which I attended to make Snarlin' Arlen Specter uncomfortable, by the way) I've been extremely uncomfortable with conservatives pointing out how Socialized Medicine is going to deprive seniors of their precious Medicare. That is going to happen regardless of the outcome of this debate, and conservatives must not be dishonest about that.

My Dad, age 85, has pointed this out to the very great annoyance of his friends: owing to when Medicare payments began, he and his peers actually paid little, if anything into this system before they retired. Yet many of them believe that they've actually made contributions to Medicare. When he tells them they never did, they don't believe him.

Social Security is almost as bad. It is true that had they any alternative to "donating" 12% of their income to a private fund they would have made out much better. But all of us are in that boat, and, as bad as the "investment" was, I am not responsible for the bad investment choices forced on me, or my father's generation by Democrat voters. People refuse to accept that the mathematics of this is merciless: the day is coming when not only are there going to be no COLA's for SS and Medicare, there aint going to be any money at all. When that happens, all of us will pay, because there is no way any politician will ever renege on the "promise" of Social Security. They'll simply print the money to cover it, and make everyone's money worthless in the process. Seniors will be placated, and my kids' and (future) grandkids' lives will be ruined.

One of my Dad's friends from the Army reminded him that they "saved America" (both are Third ID ground-pounders from WWII) sixty-five years ago. "Does that entitle us to destroy it now?" He asked him.

Apparently so.

I wish you could make a few clones. It’s funny how when Republicans are in trouble it’s always “throw out the Republicans,” but when Democrats are in trouble it’s “throw out all the bums.” No thanks.

Same for mine (Devin Nunes)

Any Rep. that gets under Fein-swine’s skin like Devin has is worth the price of admission for that fact alone. Not to mention being right on darn near everything.

Don’t let some good people go! Let’s not “throw the baby out with the bathwater”! There are about 159 true conservatives in Congress, and it behooves us to keep the good ones and throw the rest out! Just because the conservatives are not getting us what we want right now doesn’t mean they are not doing anything! They are BLOCKING the healthcare packages in both houses by getting support from us and the blue dog dems. So, look into the voting records of your Reps and Senators, then make an educated decision! There ARE some very good people to keep! Be careful what you wish for...it might bring more change, and not necessarily for the better! This we do have a taste of.

But, that e-mail certainly makes sm good points. I do not expect ALL the incumbents to actually gt kicked out. But an anti-incumbent wave could help eiminate some RINOs during the primaries and some Marxists during the general election.

You make some excellent points! Really. I was riled up when I got that e-mail. But you did a good job putting things in a broader context. I agree that RINOS and Marxists should be our main targets in this revolution.

Gotta agree... she's hot. I'd like to see her take a position in a Palin Administration.

After looking at your home page, there is no logical reason I should debate your hostile and amateurish post.

My post wasn't directed at you, but at the author, as I hope you understand, my FRiend.

I'm always a little suspicious of these viral e-mails right after a big Democrat loss. What the Democrats fear even more than anything else is that we might be able to break their filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. And guess what? More Republicans are retiring from the Senate than Democrats, so a "throw ALL the bums out," mentality plays right into their hands.

But the bigger picture, as I said in another post in a different way is that the original Marxist Camel's nose under the tent is Social Security. It has satisfied its masters design: permanent Democrat majorities in perpetuity. But another of its intended consequences is to make seniors dependent on what is essentially welfare, and remove the stigma that used to exist of accepting direct payments from the government. Worse, it is soon going to destroy our currency and our economy. Medicare is even worse. Many older Americans collecting Medicare are unaware that they've never even paid a dime into the system.

Conservatives shouldn't be misleading people: Medicare is not going to collapse. It already has. The only thing that's keeping it going right now is the ability of the Fed and Treasury Department to kite checks back-and-forth to each other, and the fact that the Government doesn't have to adhere to generally accepted principles of accounting. Emerging economies are not fooled: The Indians and Chinese are buying Gold, and now that Gold is (temporarily) too hot, they're buying Silver.

After looking at your home page, I see it is as content-free as your post. You've made a wise decision. Your arm's way too short for this fight.
