Prehistoric site found near UK's Stonehenge

So they found a path of holes. Do they know they are disrupting pre-historic dirt.

How did they know the stones were Welsh in origin?

How did they know they were blue?

There could be stone fragments remaining. I know nothing of Welsh holes.
