I know now that I have to hustle into the back seat, take a big gulp of air, and pop the glass in the rear side window, then get out. With the engine in the front, the back end will sink last, and all the air will be rear seat area. Just ask Mary Jo Kopechne (wait, you can't). Breaking the rear door window and opening the door might leave a bit of air near the rear window as a fall-back position.

Heh, we had a nice Bordeaux to begin the meal, and a lovely home made concord grape wine to end it. In between we ate like pigs.
I R STUFT!

electric windows usually *will* still work underwater. Its always worth a try.Beats just sitting back and inhaling like Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale.

Just a friendly reminder, but among the "Black Friday" events are ones that are firearms-friendly. And you can attend them online. For example, Brownells is having "Black (Rifle) Friday". So is Sinclair, GG&G, and most of the other sites that take my plastic, and turn it into something useful like scopes, mounts, mags, spare parts, etc. Let's help the President continue the boom he started in the firearms sector. If you have anything left after he spread your wealth around, spend it on one of the few bright spots in the American economy. It's the least we can do.
And for Thanksgiving, rather than the usual centerpiece of autumn flowers and foliage, something the Pilgrims would have really been thankful for:

I was thankful to snare the very rare MP5K sling, and the hard-to-find 15-round magazine, so handy when you wear the weapon in a shoulder holster. (Yes, it can be done, and H&K makes a shoulder holster as an accessory.)

Good Morning ALL - Watched the stampeded at BassPro on the news;line up started at 3 AM for a 6 AM opening. Quite a horde.
Nice sidearm you have there WinMag. A few xtra magazines and Federal Bulk Pack and that spells FUN.
Several dogwalkers out and about, otherwise all’s quiet in theshire.

We don’t have our interview with Officer Friendly until 12/8, in order to get our Class A - LTC, but next weekend we’re going up to NH with our son, Paul, his fiancee, Sarah, and her Dad, Rob, to do some shooting at a rental range. She’s thinking, like I am, that she might like the 22, but it will be fun to try different ones.

Nothing quite like getting your trash out minutes before the truck comes by....
Oh yeah....trash day...
To: Overtaxed
well, it’s a lot better to do it that way than have out and at the curb minutes AFTER the truck comes through...
looks like it’s going to be a very nice day.
To: osagebowman
Yep. I’m planning on washing and waxing thecar this afternoon.

Taking Sam back to the vet this morning. Lethargic, can’t climb the stairs, etc.
It’s not easy being an old dog. Or an old dog’s human.
To: Corin Stormhands
Aw.... no it isn’t. Good luck to you both... Let us know wheat happens!
