Were he my neighbor, I’d make him pay for damages. Then, as add-on for pain and suffering, I’d make him let me fire that sucker - in a safe direction, of course.

He was testing the range for the impending Civil War II and miscalculated.

Is that what you told your mother when she caught you with your pants down?

Better watch it, Obama will be trying to enact cannon control.
Wasn’t there a story the other day of a man that gave his son a cannon for his birthday. Kind of strange, two cannon stories in a wek or so?

Nothing ricochets like a fast moving hard round ball. They are hard to stop.

I used to be on a muzzle loading cannon team. We used a lot of balls cast with resin, but even at that reduced weight you had to be very careful.

Did he get it back from the neighbor?
To: Marmolade
The grouchy old neighbor probably kept his ball.

Has there been a sale on cannons lately?
The cool thing is because of the last cannon incident, I looked on YouTube and saw a cannon club that’s an offshoot of my old club. It’s been at least fifteen years so I didn’t recognize anyone.

I know one of the gun shops I patronize has a few small cannons of modern manufacture for sale.
Mrs. L and I were there a couple of months ago and she said "NO!" before I could even form the question.
I never get to have any fun....

Was it a Glock?
He asked with a smile, as he ducked for cover from the impending onslaught of outraged Glock fans...
