Billy..I'm behind, of course.. I love your dancing owls and all your dancers. And I am even more behind than you were! Thank you, Meg, and thank you for the pretty "Maresy Doats"!
To: Mama_Bear
Oh, these are both the prettiest little faces! Llamas, alpacas - whatever - I don’t know the difference either!

Morning, weinie/lonestar! :)

Beautiful, Billie. I like your cropping on this and how you have the flowers growing out of the frame. :-) I didn't get through my pings yesterday - like Meg, my allergies are giving me fits right now, and I've been like a zombie. Allergy medicines DO make me sleepy - even children's non-drowsy - but sometimes it's better to be sleepy than suffer the sneezing and coughing and runny nose.
Anyway, thank you, Lori. That was such a pretty picture by itself, it wasn't hard to cut out a few flowers and paste them onto the frame. :)

Good news about your aunt, TCP. Wonderful!
May I also say that years ago my niece had thyroid cancer, and we were all devastated at the news. However, the silver lining was that the doctor said, "If one has to have cancer, the thyroid is the place to have it." She was a little girl at the time, and now she is a grown woman with children of her own!

I am still admiring your beautiful posts - the frames you’re using are gorgeous!
To: JustAmy
I could have waited on my last post to you, because oh, how I love this one with the vignette of that beautiful palomino in the purple wild flowers, and topped off with that braided frame!
To: dutchess
So happy to see you were here, dutchess! I was excited when Louie was one of the first ones to be called safe! He is a doll! I don’t think he’ll make the finals, but will keep watching and hope to see him advance several more weeks anyway!

I'm reposting this picture because it just reminds me so much of Giz! PING! Dutchess!

Try again, Billie - get the url right! :)

Oh, look at YOUR forget-me-nots!!! So pretty, Amy. Thank you for the thank you (insert jaycee’s “TY for the TY for the TY”, etc. graphic here. LOL)
To: Billie
Oh, the forget-me-not seed cards at your mom's celebration of life were such a nice touch. I wonder what sort of climate the flowers do well in. I don't know, but several people told me that they couldn't get them to grow. They look like they might grow were violets grow, in cool shady spots. We have none of that here. LOL.
I made a cover to go over the seed packets that had a graphic of Forget-me-nots and a poem I found that I thought fit nicely:
"Silently, one by one,
in the infinite meadows of heaven,
blossomed the lovely stars,
the forget-me-nots of the angels..." - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
I tied an angel charm on each one with a blue ribbon. This isn't a good photo, but it will give you an idea of what they looked like....

How pretty, Lori. Another of your special touches. :)
Mr B and I went to a "Remembrance" party this past weekend of one of his good friends. It sorta took on a 'remembrance' of both the man and his constant companion of 15 years - a beautiful dog who gave her last breath the same day he died.

his constant companion of 15 years - a beautiful dog who gave her last breath the same day he died. Oh, my gosh! How touching that they went together.
Well, I am involved in another of my painting projects. I am doing the hall off of the entryway and then next will be the dining room....then the dreaded kitchen. Anyway, I best get moving and get 'er done. TTYL!

Amy, that butterfly graphic is beautiful! Isn’t it fun creating graphics? You are doing a great job! With a good graphics program, it’s really not all that difficult, is it? See, I told ya’. ;-)
