I agree, polly..Amy's Place helps keep me sane in the midst of our national tragedy.

I am so glad to read that Shallie is doing better, polly.

Thanks MEG... yes this is a place of " Quiet Rest" !! I love it here and when I get too busy and neglect coming for a few days, I can really notice a difference.

Speaking of Shallie, she is beginning to bark wanting to play again. Oh it makes me tear up when I realize how close last week we were to just succumbing to the Vet's diagnosis and putting her down!

Moral of this lesson, never NEVER do anything hastily!

Isn't that just the sweetest face? If I had a ranch, I would have a couple lambs, just for pets. And maybe some llamas too. Look at these two!

Sorry about the allergy trouble...that’s the pits. My husband gets allergic when he mows the grass.

TO ALL: THANKS FOR PRAYERS FOR MY AUNTIE MICKEY!
She saw her primary doc on Monday and our prayers for a speedy appointment to the next specialist, for an ultrasound, were answered. She is already having the ultrasound today, Wednesday. What they see on the ultrasound will determine the next step. Turns out she is having a very low thyroid level instead of high. The nodules on the thyroid are causing a myriad of symptoms. The nodules will probably be removed. According to MayoClinic.com, chance of cancer in this case is low.

Awww...My baby raccoons have grown so much that I have to look carefully if they come alone to see if it is baby or mama.
