Oh, if i wasn’t watching my weight, i’d surely go for that for my bedtime snack.
Alas, a cup of coffee will have to do.
Hope you are well sweetie.
Good morning.
(Those ARE sugar-free and low fat, right??) ;-)
That reminds me, I suppose it’s high time I baked a batch of cookies for my soldier boy. I’ve sent him lots of treats but nothing homemade so far.:(
Saw the Cheney/Wallace interview....really good!
ALABASTER BOXES
Do not keep the alabaster boxes of your
love and tenderness sealed up, until your
friends are dead. Fill their lives with
sweetness. Speak approving, cheering words
while their ears can hear them and while
by them. The kind things you mean to say
when they are gone, say them before they
go. The flowers you mean to send-use to
brighten and sweeten their homes before they
leave them. If my friends have alabaster
boxes laid away, full of fragrant perfumes of
sympathy and affection I would rather they
would bring them out in my weary and
troubled hours and open them. Let us learn
to anoint our friends beforehand. Post-
mortem kindnesses do not cheer the
burdened spirit. Flowers cast no fragrance
backward over the weary way.

Good night all. Going to be really tough to get out of bed at 6 tomorrow morning when it is in the 40’s outside. Brrrrr!
the ONLY reason I am looking forward to the cooler weather is so i can start baking again.
Cooking can be quite theraputic....
Great! His favorites are chocolate chip, and peanut butter.:-)
lol, j/k.:-)
OH I can make some and send them to him...prolly next month.
Do you think he’d like those peanutbutter/hershey kisses ones? or will the Kiss melt on the way to getting it to him??
It's the opposite with me. Cooking causes me to NEED therapy.
BTW, I still think of you every time I see Pasta Faggioli on a menu or in a cookbook.:-)
Good morning! Are we on the new week already?
And, YES. He loves them.:-)
I don't know how melty they would get. They might be okay.
I love chocolate chip cookies. Thanks.
I almost smoked a pork shoulder this weekend but no one was around to feast on it, so I did Sausage n Peppers yesterday and had left overs today.
Next weekend will be the long weekend so I might cook the shoulder AND some beer can chicken.
Depends how grueling work will be this week.
Pasta Faggioli in a few months:-)
I recently figured out how do a SCRUMPTIOUS White CHicken Chili...oh goodnes...yummy
Faggioli is meatless, right? I could probably learn how to make that; not as good as yours of course, but passable.:-)
Or is there sausage in it?
No meat in it, but you do use salt pork as a seasoning..that gives it that “smoky” flavor. I guess you can find a smoke seasoning that is meatless...be interesting to look into.
Well, some day when you're bored and have nothing else to do, maybe you could freepmail me the recipe.:)
I am going to call it a night; I'm going to the Packers practice tomorrow morning with a friend and my older son, and out to lunch. Today was busy (two masses, arts festival downtown, Packers practice)(I know, I know, I'm addicted but it's a HARMLESS addiction.:) & I am beat.
Good night all!
