Palin's SarahPAC Backs Portman, Graham, Hatch (Palin loves RINOs)

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's SarahPAC has donated money to the campaigns of Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Orrin Hatch of Utah, as well as to Republican Ohio Senate candidate Rob Portman, according to a Friday filing with the Federal Election Commission.

The exact amounts of the contributions were not reported, but Palin had to list the names of candidates she had financially supported to make SarahPAC a bona fide political action committee.

Her contributions to Arizona Sen. John McCain, for whom she served as a running mate in the 2008 presidential campaign, and Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski had been reported in a previous filings

“As for giving their money back, why not? What exactly do you have against that?”

I didn’t say I was against it. Was it a loan? No, it was a contribution. I asked, who does that? I don’t recall hearing of it. I could be wrong, show me someone else that returns campaign contributions.

Because right now, the ENTIRE DeathCare bill is CRAP. If it were just the illegal immigration issue of the bill that was bad, I believe she would have spoken out about it. It’s not even illegal immigration that scares me to death about this bill, it’s EVERYTHING. It’s rationed care, its the single payer option, its HR3200, its everything. The entire bill needs to be flushed down the toilet, not just a few little parts here and there.

Since she hasn’t mentioned illegal immigration being a major problem I’d say we already know where she stands. We’ve suffered more than enough indifferent RINOs, not to mention the openly pro-illegal ones like Dubya and McCain. Never again.

Huckabee is a conservative? You have to be kidding. It’s best we all pledge to each other we will support any Republican candidate as we can’t even agree on what constitutes a conservative but in my book, Huck is no conservative.

Rob Portman was probably a contribution, since he is actually running in 2010. But the Lindsey Graham money is the most puzzling to me, he isn’t even running in 2010, he is locked in til 2014, unless she is contributing to his campaign to run in again in 2014, I don’t see why she would have to give him anything. I am not familiar with the way Pac’s work, so I could be wrong, so please correct me if I am wrong. But let’s say I have a Pac for the first time, can some people that I know contribute to it, then later on its a success and I give them the money that they gave back to them. It was never a loan, but I am grateful that they gave to me and I am giving their contribution back as a way of saying “Thanks for believing in me, here is what you gave me” like I said, if that’s not the way someone might do it please let me know.
Also, what I find STRANGE is that she has never even mentioned Portman, or Hatch, or even Lindsey Graham til this filing, what gives, if she is endorsing them or whatever, why haven’t we heard about them from her before

Among the immigration control people in California, Gilchrist was all by himself in endorsing Huckabee. Huckabee’s pro-amnesty garbage was well known here.

For all I know it happens all the time. It is an issue because it is Sarah Palin and it’s meant to be a wedge issue.

Since I don’t have time, nor would I care, to go over the filings of every single candidate or political figure, I will assume that some, if not all political figures, do this.

We all want Conservatives to win but when a 90% conservative with seniority can beat a Liberal, I will take the 90% conservative.

I was on the no vote for anyone other than a conservative even a week ago -- now I'm so pissed off that I will vote for a Democrat, a werewolf, or a plant so long as it isn't a marxist/communist/fascist supporting tyrant wanna-be. We have a serious, serious, serious problem in our government right now and the people trying to consolidate control in D.C. have to lose at any cost. I don't think most Democrats have even come to realize what they've done.

When one of you two geniuses reveals the secret of how we can have a guaranteed conservative majority in the House and the Senate it may behoove us to heed your words. Until then, no one gives a damn if you support an authentic conservative, and grand lady, like Sarah Palin or not.

Fred Malek, Thomas Sowell, Rush Limbaugh and a host of others are enthralled with Sarah Palin and admire her greatly. Though I'm *sure* their support pales vis-à-vis the doubt and objections that resident scholars 'falcon28' and 'AuntB' have of Sarah Palin.

Here’s a link to all 709 Sarahpac receipts on file with the FEC. I don’t find a McCain, Hatch, Graham, Portman in the list.....

I like Palin, but I am of the opinion that she is not a conservative - these donations to the worst Rinos in the Senate confirm it.

Did Reagan's VP pick of Richard Schweiker suggest to you that he was a liberal like Schweiker?

And don't even try to make the case that Schweiker was more conservative than the current crop of RINO's and don't even try to make the case that picking a VP running mate is equivalent to a puny 5K pay back.

Question, is this the ENTIRE list, because I find it odd that not one single politician is posted. Not one, so am I to assume that NO ONE in the political spectrum donated to her Pac, not Michelle Bachmann, not anyone. Perhaps the politicians are on a separate list. Plus, this isnt the full list, can’t be, when you add up the total it doesn’t equal to over a million bucks

I think it may have a minimum amount that has to be given before it is listed as itemized. Not sure of that but if you look the aggregate may set the base amount before listing.

Thanks for the info. As far as Pac’s go, I haven’t got a clue so I have no idea how it works. Like I mentioned earlier, she gave money to Lindsey Graham, but for what, he isn’t even running. He is up for re-election in 2014, NOT 2010. Why would she give money to someone who isn’t even running, nor campaigning.
