Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's SarahPAC has donated money to the campaigns of Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Orrin Hatch of Utah, as well as to Republican Ohio Senate candidate Rob Portman, according to a Friday filing with the Federal Election Commission.
The exact amounts of the contributions were not reported, but Palin had to list the names of candidates she had financially supported to make SarahPAC a bona fide political action committee.
Her contributions to Arizona Sen. John McCain, for whom she served as a running mate in the 2008 presidential campaign, and Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski had been reported in a previous filings

Rubio on amnesty:
IMMIGRATION: Legal immigration has been a great source of strength and prosperity for America, but I believe illegal immigration threatens the foundation of this system. If I had been in the Senate at the time, I would have opposed the McCain-Kennedy bill. I believe we must fix our immigration system by first securing the border, fixing the visa and entry process and opposing amnesty in any reform.

Sarah make any strong anti-amnesty remarks lately? just wondering
Message to you: You’re a loser. Running RINOs worked so well in 2006 and 2008. Democrat lite isn’t going to cut it.
“RINO” means “I disagree with the candidate on something, so he can’t be in my party, which I’m not in anyway because the Republicans aren’t conservative enough.”
Once you understand the lingo, it’s easier to follow the play.
“So one report and you are taking flight.”
I took flight from Palin many months ago. She is not the default conservative leader of the country... she has to earn it with her actions - and this report ain’t helping.
Here’s a little more background for you on Rubio and illegal immigration:

I’ve donated to people in the past that I now regret.
I think this may be taken out of context, so I’d like more information on when she made the donations, and her explanation on why she did.
Portman used to win his congressional district handily — a district that has produced nailbiter wins for Jean Schmidt the last elections. He’s a personable, commonsense conservative that doesn’t fit the bogeyman image the media likes to present to the public.
Is he “wrong” on a couple of issues? Probably. But a lot of people around here need to learn that the perfect is the enemy of the possible.
Why don’t you look it up from her pac filings. Those will list the income and the out go. That way you’ll have more creds rather than guessing.
It was july 14th, my mistake, but either way it was around the time she had to disclose how much her Pac made, July 14th is when she gave Lindsey Graham money(Does not say how much. My theory is for example, your making a small business, you have a few of your buddies give you money in hopes it is successful, once its a proven success, you give the money right back. Same thing here, why do I think that is the case with Sarah’s Pac, because she has NEVER mentioned Lindsey Graham, Rob Portman(Who I never heard of til today) and Orrin Hatch. She only has mentioned Rick Perry, repeatedly, so why not come out and endorse them, she gave the money to them over 2 months ago yet not even a mention. Nah, this was returning the money back to the contributor
I agree. Portman is not perfect, but he is closer to perfection than most of them.
I like DeMint and a few others more, but Portman is certainly towards the top of the good guy list.

According to the report SarahPAC filed on Friday, she crossed the five-candidate threshold on Aug. 12 with a donation to Portman. SarahPAC gave to Graham and Hatch on July 14.
So all you have to offer to the conversation is name calling? Stay classy. When you are ready to act like an “adult” and debate someone without the childish name-calling - give me a buzz.
If he were “perfect” he would be Duncan Hunter, but there’s only one Duncan Hunter.
I am waiting too. Does anyone here think I am happy that she gave money to Lindsey Graham..HELL NO I don’t want anything to do with that loser. I can’t stand the guy. McCain I totally understand, Murkowski I can sorta get(She did say she was not going to run for Lisa’s senate seat) Rob Portman I had never heard of so I can’t pass judgment on someone I don’t know, but Lindsey Graham is one of the worst. There is NO way she would give money to him, unless she was giving his contribution back to him. But I will wait to hear the full story, if I am right, then good, if I am wrong, then so be it I will say I am wrong
We center at the end of the day must be with Conservatives and we need to ensure that Rinos have no real power no matter how long they have been in the Senate or the House.
What you're suggesting is precisely what has the Republican party in the position it's in today, nothing more than "Democrat Party Lite" in my view.
You can have your RINO's and Republican party.
Give me Conservatism, or give me death. (Without ObamaCare!)
Political expediency is a sad reality. If the donations keep the Rinos from dissing the girl then I’m all for it. I’d like to see a liitle Sarah love from Grahamnesty, though...would help to soothe the sting
They’re all open border advocates that she’s contributed to. No wonder she’s avoiding that issue like the plague until her coffers are full. I guess we know what she and McCain had in common now. For all her messages about Obama care’s downside, she didn’t mention illegal aliens getting the plan. It’s an issue that encompasses too many others, education, healthcare, sovereignty, jobs, and more!
I had some high hopes on her, but it’s apparent she doesn’t have very good political instincts if she’s for amnesty, because the people surely are not. She needs to come out and say what she thinks, NOW.
21 July 2009
Palin tweeted the following:
Rep.Lynn’s good HB3 Visa/Drivers Lic law:”If u dont have legal right to walk down AKn street, why should u have right to drive same street?”
I don’t know anyone can say Sarah Palin isn’t a Conservative. She has single handily brought DeathCare to it’s knees with a few facebook postings. If she were not a Conservative she would have come out for it. It is because of her(And others too) that we have a fighting chance to bring his DeathCare down. The Lindsey Graham money is very confusing, which is why I am waiting to hear the full story

The big question appears to whether or not Rubio went out of his way to block immigration bills during his tenure as the Speaker. There appears to be no evidence that he did - and we may not know the whole story. However, Rubio has said on multiple occasions that he absolutely will NOT vote for amnesty in any form. That is more than Crist can say. Crist is the RINO in this race, not Rubio.
