In the end, Alex Jones may the only one that really *got it* before it happened. I used to think he was way out there, now I think I need to pay more attention to what he says.

THIS is BHO’s new civilian army. Sneaking in the back door, unannounced. ..... and we thought he forgot about doing that.

As a prior 95Bravo in the Army, I'm a little unsettled knowing that this job description falls under the realm of the MP Corps. That being said, what is the newly designated MOS # for the role? That's a quick way to find out what this is about, and if it is in fact real at all.

If it is an actual MOS...

Well...

Time to visit family out of this country.

“They are advertising for guards at concentration camps!!!! “

What hysterical bullshit.

It is one of three enlisted Military Occupational Specialties for Military Police.

Can this be moved to front page or somewhere so it can get some more exposure?

This seems to be pretty important and should be seen by as many as possible, thanks.

I’m looking for a harmless explanation, but “resettlement” stumps me. Resettle who, from where to where, and why?

There isn’t a benign explanationThere isn’t a benign explanation. I don’t like the idea of our military doing something like that here, and I sure as hell am not comfortable with them doing anywhere else. Anyone trying to inter or “resettle” me or my fellow citizens is bound to find trouble.

I’m copying and pasting the text of the job here in case it gets pulled off of Monster.

All you have to do is go to the Army National Guard web site and look at the job listings. This says "military prisoners" which I guess could be members of the military, or perhaps they are looking into where to put those Gitmo people.

31E - INTERNMENT / RESETTLEMENT SPECIALIST
Description

Internment / Resettlement Specialists in the Army are primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility.

Internment / Resettlement Specialists provide rehabilitative, health, welfare, and security to US military prisoners within a confinement or correctional facility; provide custody, control, supervision and security to internees within a detention/internment facility; conduct inspections; prepare written reports; coordinate activities of prisoners/internees and staff personnel.

Some of your duties as an Internment / Resettlement Specialist may include:

•Assisting with supervision and management of confinement and detention operations
•Providing internal or external security to confinement/corrections facilities or detention/internment facilities
•Providing custody, control, supervision and escort to all security levels of U.S. military prisoners or internees/detainees
•Counseling and guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program
•Preparing or reviewing reports and records of prisoners/internees and programs

I’d really like to know how long the career field has existed and if it has always been titled ‘Internment/Resettlement Specialist’.

We need someone who has been in the National Guard to tell us how long this MOS has been in existence.

I think I hit a solid note in FEAT, with the New Madrid Quake and the subsequent forced resettlement leading to CW.

Well, says “various locations”, so I guess that means at least more than one.

Now I admit I’ve heard some grumblings about Mexico. The biggest chunk of income to the Mexican government is oil, and supposedly receipts and production are dropping fast. A few analysts say it can end up meaning only one thing, that millions of Mexicans might just head north.

But a hypothetical like that doesn’t seem to me to be as “urgent” or “solid” as this ad does.

Almost sounds like they know we’re gonna get hit by a comet or something! (I know, I know, looney tunes material). No matter what, something more definite.

It’s the use of “resettlement” that baffles me. “Internment” can simply be read as the internment of any prisoners anywhere anytime, in foreign countries, during war, etc.

But RESETTLEMENT? Why that word? What do they have in mind? A comet strike, as you said? What?

Well, it mentions confinement/correctional facilities and/or interment/detention facilities.

Whats up with that? Anybody know the definitions or differences?

Like I said earlier, chuck “due process” out the window. No matter how you slice it or dice it, this is martial law preparation stuff.

Since martial law has been declared several times (the earliest was during the war of 1812 and the latest for hurricane Katrina), I suspect this type of job has been around for quite some time. Don't get your panties in such a knot.

You make it sound like it’s a good thing.

But you have to admit the ad raises many more questions than it answers.
