The Ballad of Smilin” Bill

There was a hot shot trucker
His name was “Smilin Bill”
He was tall and handsome,
And dressed up fit to kill.

He drove a big old Kenworth
With a nickel plated stack,
Gearbox made by Spicer,
Differentials made by Mack.

A Cummins with a turbo,
And a Jacob’s engine brake
The grizzleys on the hood
Were from Hayes, for pity sake.

The bumper on his tractor
Was the mouldboard from a cat
He kept a jug of moonshine
By the cushion where he sat.

He was headed for Vancouver
With a load of hanging meat
Playing a tape by Merle Haggard
Tapping rythym with his feet.

He roared down Jackass Mountain
With the throttle on the floor
His shifter stuck in 15th.
His tach way over on 24.

He came down thru the Canyon
Pulled out to pass a car
And he missed the tunnel entrance
At a place called “China Bar”

Now Bill is back a-trucking
But he’s working just for kicks
On a coal haul for the Devil
Down across the River Styx.

And the rock still bears the imprint
Where the Kenworth insignia struck
Gainer’s Packing got the salvage
Autoshredder got the truck.

It may be a fabricated photo...although some biologists could in some instance touch the ‘lets?

... usually they use rubber gloves.
Now you have my curiousity up.
These could have been from a rescued nest. The blue towels are similar to what I have seen in “ Hatching “ incubators...hmmmmmmmmmm out scratching my head here!
