Did you hear about the guy that lives on nothing? No seriously, he lives on zero dollars a day. Meet Daniel Suelo, who lives in a cave outside Moab, Utah. Suelo has no mortgage, no car payment, no debt of any kind. He also has no home, no car, no television, and absolutely no “creature comforts.” But he does have a lot of creatures, as in the mice and bugs that scurry about the cave floor he’s called home for the last three years.
To us, Suelo probably sounds a little extreme. Actually, he probably sounds very extreme. After all, I suspect most of you reading this are doing so under the protection of some sort of man-made shelter, and with some amount of money on your person, and probably a few needs for money, too. And who doesn’t need money unless they have completely unplugged from the grid? Still, it’s an amusing story about a guy who rejects all forms of consumerism as we know it.

The article I read, OR ELSE perhaps a comment made about the article, mentioned that a similar thing would occur if there was a recall of MSG products, as there simply are many thousands of products containing MSG, just like the TVP.<<<

One link says they knew and kept shipping out the products.
I am sure they ruined several of the smaller companies and they were the first companies in the recalls, still they also got some of the larger companies too.
If they shipped deliberately, then in my books, that is an act of terrorism.
With no one sick, then FDA can still use this to close down small companies, maybe they did not donate to the right party.

FDA notified healthcare professionals and patients that a Boxed Warning has been added to the prescribing information for Plavix, an anti-blood clotting medication. The Boxed Warning in the drug label will include information to:
* Warn about reduced effectiveness in patients who are poor metabolizers of Plavix. Poor metabolizers do not effectively convert Plavix to its active form in the body.
* Inform healthcare professionals that tests are available to identify genetic differences in CYP2C19 function.
* Advise healthcare professionals to consider use of other anti-platelet medications or alternative dosing strategies for Plavix in patients identified as poor metabolizers.
Plavix is given to reduce the risk of heart attack, unstable angina, stroke, and cardiovascular death in patients with cardiovascular disease. Plavix works by decreasing the activity of blood cells called platelets, making platelets less likely to form blood clots. Ingredients
* 3 vine ripe tomatoes, cut into chunks
* 1 red onion, thinly sliced
* 1/2 European seedless cucumber, cut into bite-size chunks
* 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and chunked
* 1 small green bell pepper, seeded and chunked
* 1 cubanelle pepper, seeded and chunked
* 1 cup Kalamata black olives
* Several sprigs fresh flat-leaf parsley, about 1/2 cup
* 2 (1/4 pound) slices imported Greek feta
* 1/4 cup (a couple of glugs) extra-virgin olive oil
* 3 tablespoons (3 splashes) red wine vinegar
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed in palm of your hand
* Coarse salt and black pepper
* Pita bread
Directions
Combine vegetables, olives, and parsley in a large bowl. Rest sliced feta on the top of salad. Combine oil, vinegar, and oregano in a small plastic container with a lid. Shake vigorously to combine oil and vinegar and pour over salad and cheese. Season with salt and pepper and let the salad marinate until ready to serve. Serve salad with pita bread blistered and warmed on a hot griddle or grill pan.
