Happy Friday, GeeBee.
Is everything running smoother now? I hate car trouble.
Are you going to make it to DC in September?
I purchased our tickets last night.
I'm hoping for a HUGE crowd of angry citizens.
Have a beautiful weekend.

I found the Finest pet threads by dutchess helped me with grief over the loss of my beloved kitty, Purty...Kindred spirits..loving their pets.
Thank you, dutchess, for Giz’s cute”interviews”.
He brought joy to us all.

LOL! Glad to know part of it was true. They talked like it was a common thing with Elvis! Its good he shot the t.v. rather than one of those “friends” of his....
I have been known to have tiny fits, as a matter of fact I had one this morning....a hissy fit! I was trying to get the rubber bands around my little pill bottles, like I always keep them and one bottle kept popping out and after several times like that, I just grabbed all of them and shook them and kinda threw them all over the table. Thank goodness, the lids didn’t pop off or I would have really been mad!! Ya’ll needed a laugh, huh?

Dutchess and MrDutchess, please accept my condolences.
Giz has been part of the FR family for a very long time.
It is so hard to lose a member of our family.
It sounds like Giz died where he wanted to be; overlooking his special place.
Hugs to you both.

Thanks both of you. Giz (plus Rusty, FredtheCat AND Codee) had so much fun doing the Finest pet threads and getting to know some of our Finest pets (as well as share our grief when we lost one.) Mr. D. is really struggling with this one...I guess I’m kind of numb.

I have it marked for later reading. I loved these pet threads at the Finest.
It was so much fun getting acquainted with our Finest Pets.
Thanks, Dutchess and Gizmo.

Oh Meg..thanks so much for the link. I'm kind of glad at the moment that the server is down. Not sure I could handle the pictures...especially since we just lost Rusty a year ago. He and Giz were such pals. But, I had so much fun doing the thread, and what a treat these two guys were. Okay, now I want to see the pictures :o) !!!!
FR has always been a great source of comfort when we lose someone, either a parent, pet, friend. Am really glad I checked in today. ((((hugs))))
To: dutchess; JustAmy
I saved the last Hall of Fame thread and can sometimes find things using it..It was such a great thread..
The server will get going again..and you’ll be more prepared , (((dutchess.))))
FR is here for us to share laughter and tears...Thank God and Jim Robinson for it.

Just made the Salmon Patties (with a very nice Bearnaise sauce for a topping.) The meal was simply outstanding, and I got rave reviews on ‘my’ cooing. (My thanks for the recipe, a solid success!)

Sorry to hear about Gizmo, sounds like the love was given and received by both sides. The memories are the golden gift you will always have, and in that way, Gizmo is but a thought away.

You are welcome, Johnn. Now - a favor, (por favor):
Could you please post a good recipe for bearnaise? No restaurants serve it any more and I can’t find a good recipe!
Thanking you in advance!
To: yorkie
That looks delicious! I’m saving that for Tuesday’s fish.
Just got hungry.

PANKO (Japanese bread crumbs) are the best - and I always remove the bones and skin - just a personal choice. I hope you enjoy them.
I always make a cream white sauce with peas to cover them - YUMMmmmmy!!
