Hey gal, I believe I will pass on the poached! How about you?

Don’t under-estimate yourself! You’ve been going through this for several days and didn’t give up. I really do not know how to fix the first thing, L.J....

The last time my son worked this one over thoroughly and ordered me additional memory, it has really run smooth. Occasionally, it gets a bit slow but its because I have too much opened or something like that! My computer is quite old also....unbelievably old!

I almost thought L.J. had reached her breaking point but she came through...she should be mighty proud! Computers can upset our world sometimes but I would never go that far! Not many of us would. Reminds me of the tales they told on Elvis. They said he would get mad at the television (maybe someone saying something about him) and he would shoot the t.v. I do not know if he did or not but there were many rumors about that! When you’re rich, guess you don’t worry about replacement! LOL!

Just a short sad note to tell you that our little Gizmo passed away in his sleep this afternoon. He actually was doing well, was pretty spunky last night, ate well, his walking had improved. He crawled out of our bed in the middle of the night (not like him) and I found him sleeping in our dining room (with floor to ceiling windows overlooking his yard). He seemed peaceful and not in distress but had no desire to eat or go outside. I tried to coax him to eat around noon and he wanted no part of it and 1/2 hour later he was gone. We’re obviously very sad, but also grateful for the wonderful 14 years of love and joy he gave us. He’s now at Rainbow Bridge with a lot of loved freeperpets. ((((sad hugs))))

Dutchess, I am so sorry to hear about your Gizmo! Its very hard to give them up, no matter how old. I know you're thankful to have had him as long as you did, but most of us know how bad it hurts.

I’m so sorry (((dutchess))). It hurts to know that Gizmo is gone, we had a lot of fun with him on the Pet threads you used to make at The Finest.

Once, years ago, I got so mad at a computer that I put a mouse through a metal table. Wrecked both. Then brought PC to repair shop since I couldn’t afford to destroy that.

My temper is rare as chicken teeth but when it surfaces the earth moves. It is very handy in business dealings.

Elvis DID shoot at least one TV. It’s on display somewhere.
