Hell, that’s the only reason I’ll pause on a tennis match when I’m surfing channels.

I find it shocking that a male BBC pundit would realize that heterosexual men enjoy looking at good looking women.

most sports are a combination of sex appeal of great bodies along with sport.
If I were a woman, I certainly would be oogling Nadal and Federer.
If I were a man, Kournikova, Sharapova and Ivanovic would be pretty attractive too.
But besides the eye candy, the tennis is also important. Nadal/Federer finals have been fabulous regardless of the players’ good look.
Sharapova also plays amazing tennis.

I’m thinking more people would watch women’s basketball if they changed their uniforms to be less like the men’s uniforms, more like women’s tennis uniforms and wore some makeup on the court.

Over the last few years I have taken a liking to women's sports. Whether it is tennis, soccer, volleyball, or basketball; there is something I like about hot, sweaty, women running around a court or field chasing a ball.

I was never much of a tennis-watcher anyway, but the grunting sealed the deal for me many years ago.

I don't even want to THINK about sex with Her Bootyness Serena. No thank you.
Cantaloupes coming, basketballs going.
I like the women's games as much as the men's.
I do think they should have to play 5 sets though. Equal sets for equal prize money

The problem with what Stich said is the word “just”. To say that there is no sex involved is to deny the obvious. To say that it’s only about sex is to neglect the fact that these are superb athletes, playing their sport at a level that few men could ever dream of achieving. And I’m sure athletes like Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps, Rafal Nadal have all been also marketed with sex in mind.
I think Stich will soon find out that he stepped in it with both feet.

What are they expected to trip and fall spreadeagle, or is it the girls touching the fuzzy balls?
