Mrs Don-o wrecked on her bike this morning and has broken bones in both her arms plus a broken left elbow. She will have surgery tomorrow for the elbow.
I left her in good spirits, after she was given some pain medication.
As often happens, we meet angels all along the way - from the folks to stopped at the accident to render assistance and contact me - to the EMT's who transported her - to the wonderful staff at our medical center.
Your prayers and pings are requested.

Thanks for the update, prayers continue for her smooth recovery.
Prayers continue.
Ironically enough, I was biking on Saturday (and Sunday) doing the MS-150 ride from Proctor to Minneapolis.
Glad to hear the operation was a success, you are both the subject of prayers heading past the ceiling and upwards at a rapid rate of ascent.
Cheers!
Don’t know if mentioned, but Mrd D was the third patient on he floor in for a bicycle accident.
I’m just back from a visit. She is progressing very well. IV is out and she can get out of the bed and walk the hallways. She’s content, but I know she misses her FR friends. Still no word on discharge. She got get well cards from some of our singing friends today, and from the morning Mass group. That was nice. A friend came a spent time with her as well.
I don’t think I mentioned that she was coming home from Mass when the accident happened .
Thoughts and prayers for a quick and full recovery!
Thank you for the update.
Prayers continue....
Mrs Don-o is home. She’s doing research on her situation right now. I expect she will come on the thread at some point. She’s got the use of one hand with a pretty heavy wrap getting in the way. But, she can type a little.

Good news!
Please explain what c omfrey is ... perhaps I can bring some by in a few days! [I trust the severe T-storms have not knocked down any destructive trees in your area.
Good news. Our prayers will continue for your wife and for you don-o.
Offering Rosaries, candles and Masses as available!
Do everything your physical therapist tells you to, and get plenty of sleep and vitamins! I busted up my hand pretty badly awhile back (actually 20 years ago) and the PT was the number one key to a complete recovery. Happened to see the surgeon about a month ago on something else, and he congratulated me on the good job keeping his repair in working order . . . . no arthritis even.
God bless!
Welcome home, Mrs. Don-o!
Prayers up.
Try using your nose to hit the shift key!
Glad to have you back with us!
Comfery is a (an?) herb that has medicinal properties that may be of benefit in bone healing and inflammation lessening. I did a bit of internet research on it.
We had a tree down just one block west. One of the old silver maples snapped at the ground. It actually fell between two house. Broke the chimney, stripped gutter and dinged the roof. But, it was a glancing impact, not a direct hit.
