Well, you make a very nice looking couple, even if you are “just friends”. It is always nice to share the things you like, with someone who enjoys the same things!

Dolly! I love the pictures! The scenic ones of the stream and the path are just so serene and beautiful. You all seem to have a WHOLE LOT in common. And I loved the one with you all holding hands. I see something with you two! Really!
And getting a little better look at him, he is very handsome!
You will have to keep us informed!

The one pic of you DIL...she is very pretty. Looks mighty young...(everyone looks young to me anymore)!!

My son is 37 & shannon is 32. She has been living with a 22 year old for 2 years, since they have been separated. Jeff gets along pretty well with shannon now & her beau also named Jeff & he says he is good with their children, which is impt.

some sparks yes... but caution. I do NOT think we would have made it years ago.. when I broke up I was really immature and so was he but we of course didn’t know it.

I met & married on the rebound & so did he. Both were terrible marriages.

When I broke up it was not for lack of love.. just issues that I found problematic. I am more patient now & understand more. At 21 you dont have whole pictures or they are distorted.

okay.. mom wants to see pix from hike & from my NC trip so I need to move the laptop to her bed & put on the show.

Catch you all later..

d

Thank you, JC - I'm wearing red today!

Take A Moment To Thank A Veteran

When you see someone in a uniform
Someone who serves us all,
Doing military duty,
Answering their country’s call,

Take a moment to thank them
For protecting what you hold dear;
Tell them you are proud of them;
Make it very clear.

Just tap them on the shoulder,
Give a smile, and say,
“Thanks for what you’re doing;
To keep us safe in the USA!”

Oh, thats so sweet, yorkie! I did get a chance about a year ago to thank a Marine. It was down at the courthouse and I was getting tags renewed, etc. and as I was leaving I saw him in uniform and I just reached out my hand and said “I want to thank you for serving our country.” He had the biggest smile and was somewhat surprised that I had done that...but very appreciative. All day long I felt good.

My grocery store probably has that! Sometimes we don’t know what all they carry unless we are specifically looking for it.

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.

Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

The night before the social worker made her visit, Marissa slept most of the night with hubby and me.

I think she felt more secure in our room.

She seemed fine last night and was anxious to get to school today.

Thank you, Meg.
Marissa is fine. I think she was just tired.
She had trouble getting to sleep Wednesday night.
She didn't get to sleep until midnight, but still woke up a 6:00.

Thanks for the cute graphic.

Have a wonderful Friday and a lovely weekend.
