I really like peanut butter, too.

I had to give up crackers with peanut butter. :( I've been trying to lose a few pounds. Needless to say, I didn't do very well last weekend.

Isn’t it terrible to have to diet all the time? If its something we love, we can’t have it! And I like almost everything...never have been a finicky eater!

Peanut Butter w/Hershey’s Kisses

INGREDIENTS:
1-3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 T milk
Hershey’s kisses, unwrapped

Directions:
Cream margarine and peanut butter. Add white and brown sugars, cream thoroughly.

Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add flour and baking soda.

Roll dough in balls, then roll in white sugar.

Place on cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes.

Remove from oven and place unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss in the center of each cookie and press down.

Bake for another 5 minutes or until cookie is golden. Remove from oven and cool on cooling rack.

Easily doubled (if dough is sticky, add flour - usually 2-4 T).

I was there earlier jaycee. I think in PMs it is a heavily hit site & crashes the servers. It is really beautiful

off to watch the Cavs. After June 12 we will have satellite here. I did some checking & the cable service (monopoly.. just one) is known for bad service, slow, problems with lines.

Mom will enjoy being able to watch the Indians for every game. She puts on her Indian’s shirt & hat & has been a big fan her whole life. She likes LeBron but isn’t really into basketball.. (just like I believe she liked Obama, but wasn’t really into politics).. she referred to McCain as “that old man”.

she has no clue - like much of the country - what is going on. She watches the View & Oprah & has her world colored through those filters.

Mozie.. I dont know how you do w/o a cell phone. Of course I do NOT have a land line.. Just the one phone & love it.

The three techie things I wouldn’t want to give up are cell phone, microwave & DSLcomputer.. rest I could.

Everyone have a good evening. Oh Mozie.. Monday is “loosly” Military; Monday here although we honor our troops all week.. just letting you know re: posting pix. The powers that be here like the pix size small also (yours were perfect) as a couple at the thread are on dial up.

I am making black beans.. Never made them prior.. put dry ones in pot wiht water, onions, garlic, sea salt, salsa & some ketchup.. any other ideas?

I love rice & beans.. we had it almost every day the trips I took to Haiti.. I think I will be serving this with wild rice & pitas. Having a friend over for dinner tomorrow. actually we will be at neighbors where I am dog sitting. He likes me to spend time there & has no objection if I entertain there.. He has a huge 6 bedroom , 5 bath home. About 4500 sq ft & lives alone with his pup snowflake.
