There is an old made for TV movie called “She Lives” with Season Hubley and Desi Arnaz, Jr. that uses “Time in a Bottle” throughout the film. The movie and the song always made me cry.

You are a good vocalist...You're mad, mad talented.No, actually, she's not in the least bit talented. The best black singers (and actors) have a rich timber to their voices. The worst have a shrill quality. (And then there's the rappers, who are a whole 'nuther kettle of fish altogether.) Lil has the shrillness.
