Danny is first tonight. His song is Mickey Gilly's version of "Stand By Me." Slower than the original version.
It's okay. It picks up tempo in th second half. Reminds me of the Love Boat theme. Paula's dancing at the judges' table.
Randy: Gospel, jazz, R&B chords. You made me love it even though I didn't love the arrangement. You got some talent!
Kara: I was like what kind of arrangement is this? You turned it on its head and made it your own.
Paula: Creative liberties you took with the arrangement, which I loved. Very amazing.
Simon: The beginning was good. The middle was lazy. And the end was terrific. So overall it was good.
