So.
I was amused the other morning, as I was driving in to work during the wee pre-dawn hours that my regular news-talk radio station was getting totally clobbered by a Detroit station bouncing off the atmosphere. They were all a'twitter about the kids coming to town and giving everyone instructions about where to be to see them.

It was in the papers when they came up here last week. Funny thing is that the Motown studios is located in an area that no one goes. Just not safe. Even Motown Records bailed to L.A.

If you like old Motown stuff, there is an album that came out last fall, Raphael Saadiq, "The Way I See It." It was recorded in 2008, but sounds like it was recorded in 1963. I LOVE IT!
I loved listening to the song "Love That Girl" from that album. One of my faves from last year.

I will say at the outset...Smokey is a very gracious and kind mentor for these yongins......but I cant wait to hear what he has to say about Adam the Fruit.......after last week, GOD only knows how that fella is going to destroy Motown.

So far so good tonight.

he was too over the top last week and got skeered. this week he has on a suit, hair slicked back and is singing tracks of my tears as a ballad. don’t know if he will sing it to a girl or a guy? and whether their will be makeup and nail polish.
he could freak us out by looking normal. they have lil rounds, adam, danny and then allison is the best spots at the end. that is the magic four.
get ready to gag. Paula is going to hyperventilate over Adam.
