The Video Simon Cowell Just Couldn’t Bury
http://www.tmz.com/2009/07/31/the-video-simon-cowell-just-couldnt-bury/
That guy in the blue doggy suit is a young Simon Cowell — and this is the video his buddy Nigel Lythgoe didn’t think we’d ever find. Check and mate.
Nigel challenged TMZ to uncover the “horrible” video of the “Idol” judge singing — and did we ever. Here’s Cowell waaaay back in ‘82 on the popular U.K. television show
“Top of the Pops” performing as his barking alter-ego “Wonderdog.”
With sadness in my heart, Ive decided not to return to #IDOL.
I’m upset she’s not coming back. I liked the original judges and not the addition of Kara. Paula was a dingbat but she was OUR dingbat.
Oh nooooooooooooooo!! You’re right — Paula is OUR dingbat! LOL! Seriously, this Kara chick can’t begin to replace her. She doesn’t have Paula’s warmth or silly entertainment factor, but I can’t take her seriously either (especially after that wretched song she foisted off on Kris and Adam to sing!). Sigh. Looks like AI has jumped the shark for sure.
While I won’t go so far as to say I’ll never watch the show again...it really has lost something for me with Paula not coming back. She was a big part of the appeal-wondering what crazy things she’s say or what whacked out outfit she’d wear. She was a huge part of the show. Kara and Randy could leave and the show wouldn’t be much affected. Simon, Ryan or Paula leave and the whole dynamics of the show change drastically...JMHO...
I think they’ve made a huge mistake not giving Paula more $$$ She’s popular and the reason why many tune in - to see her “craziness”....She’s fun to watch - a “character”.
I have lost interest in IDOL = I liked the season that produced David Cook - and Carrie Underwood - but some of the “idols” don’t hold my interest.
Simon better wake up - and I don’t like that other female judge - she’s so b*tchy.
This stinks.
LOL!
Will they at least go back to three judges?

Abdul’s rep didn’t immediately return a request for comment, but her manager, David Sonenberg, was rather blunt recently when asked about Abdul’s prospects in the wake of the $45 million deal inked by Ryan Seacrest and the even more mind-boggling sum reportedly being negotiated by Simon Cowell.
Sonenberg told the Los Angeles Times a few weeks ago that producers hadn’t even approached Abdul with a number, a lack of action he called “kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful.”
Reps for show producers Fremantle, 19 Entertainment and Fox had remained quiet amid the rumblings that Abdul was getting ready to walk (or being given her walking papers).
An Idol source tells E! News that the invested parties made Abdul what they considered to be a “fair offer,” but that she turned them down. And “Kara made her expendable,” the source said.
Seacrest twittered his reaction upon hearing the news tonight.
“About to go to sleep when I started seeing my blackberry blow up. I have read what u have read and I am shocked and saddened about paula,” he wrote.
I sure hope so. I had a feeling that Kara was brought in to counter Paula's asking for more money. Looks like it worked.
Her goofiness will be missed, but telling people they sing in colors wasn't exactly helpful either! lol
Going to be interesting to see this season play out.
She gave this thread half its material.
Yeah. :-(
Thing about making fun of Kara is that she is in control of her faculties, so she actually means the crazy crap she says.
“Wooo!! It’s like Studio 57 up in here!”
Or how bout when Kara said, “I have three words for you...” and then went on for at least ten.
Yeah, exactly.
Oh! Remember when her whole thing, “People don’t think they could go shopping with you” to one of the contestants?
Good riddance Paula. For the last couple of years in particular I have concentrated only on Simon’s and sometimes Randy’s comments. I consider Paula’s comments to be totally worthless.
Rembember this: With age comes wisdom, hopefully enough wisdom to know you should know to NEVER trust a fart! (Quick, who said this, and in what movie?)
Extrodinarily Happy Belated Birth Day Wishes!
Thank you very much, sirchtruth!
Paula Abdul inspires men to fight over her, but not in the way you might think.
American Idol alum Constantine Maroulis, 33, got his butt kicked by an Abdul hater during Casios G-Shock party Wednesday night at Cipriani Wall Street.
The partygoer threw punches, pushed Maroulis to the ground and kicked him repeatedly before security guards stepped in. According to witnesses, fisticuffs erupted because Maroulis professed his desire for Abduls return to Idol. His attacker was more than happy to see her gone.
It was hilarious! Constantine got into it with this guy who was probably 6 inches shorter and 60 pounds lighter, laughs an observer. The guy body-slammed him and punched him in the face and then just stood up, straightened his tie, and said, Bch, dont you ever, before walking away.
The attendee adds, Security didnt know what to make of this guy. He was so well-groomed in his suit, and he didnt look like a threat at all. Constantine was so overwhelmed he just sat there on the floor for a few minutes.
Later, the Tony nominee, who just signed for another year in the Broadway show Rock of Ages, tweeted about the incident.
It broke up quick, didnt even know him. Or throw one punch. I dont mind a fight ... but only when its fair and Im looking! wrote the star, adding, Im fine! Some drunk dude tackled me in the middle of the concert and jumped on me.
