And by “wake you up” I mean, run scrambling from the room like your hair was on fire.
I think Adam has the the best vocal range and more styles of singing. He has done well in ballads also. I think he can be a lead singer with a top rock band right now. Don't know if anyone needs someone or not. He can also go on stage. A Tommy revival may suit him very well.
Kris is solely a baladeer and soft rock. He will appeal to that audience whatever it is.
All five of the singers did well when they had the final five; what I call Sinatra night.
Kris had his best night last week and may be gathering some momentum. He will get the adult vote and anti-gay Christian vote which is gathering around the country. Don't have tyo go farther than this thread.
Adam will get the teeny-bopper vote and some hard rockers.
It all comes down to who has the best speed dialers, unless someone flops tonight.
Does anyone know what the rules are about past experience? Assumedly, they are being followed.

IMO, he will get the teen vote, he sings the type of music they listen to, as well as adult comtemporary music fans.
Adam appeals to glam/stadium rock fans, many who are older baby boomer women. I don’t see the gay/Christian thing being that much of a factor. It’s a contrast in styles. Alot of mom/daughter pairs watch the show together. I think the younger girls will be voting for Kris and the moms for Adam. The mom age group still has that 70’s-80’s old school thought that flaming gay is cool and “edgy.” Young people have moved beyond that. Kris is relevant to them, they don’t listen to Adam’s style of music.

Seriously though, I think you’re right. Some teens will no doubt go for Adam due to the rebel factor, but Kris is current and will get more of the teen vote. Plus, he’ll get a lot of spillover from Danny (the segment of older females who aren’t fans of glam)
Agree 100%. Look for Adam in a revival of Cage Aux Folles or in a road company of Angels in America.. Beyond that— nothing.

I am looking forward to the American Idol finale and voting like a Democrat.......as often as I like!! ; )

I am the “lead dog” in an EMS dinner/trauma seminar this evening, so I will not be able to be here for the BIG ONE..(damn the bad luck!) But rest assured....your men and women in blue that cover your keister when you need them most, will be enjoying a fine dinner in their honor and eloquent words of wit (and a bit of trauma training) from me :-) (I may have to toss in an American Idol reference just to keep things lively) LOL
In any case,,,,I will miss you all and ask that if you would be so kind.....embelish your comments a bit more this week, so I can truly feel as if I were there with you.........when I finally get a chance to read the thread later tonight or tomorrow. (NO, I dont TIVO...Im an old fart...I barely remember DISCO let alone TIVO ;-)
