Told Ya: Baby Mama Bristol Palin Will Remain Single Mother, Splits with Baby Daddy

Hate to say it in this instance, but . . . . I told you so.

When I wrote a column about how Bristol Palin remains a single mother--a baby mama--and had no legitimate reason to prolong getting married, several worshippers at the alter of St. Sarahmessiah told me I was wrong, that these two kiddie-parents (the Palin daughter and boytoy Levi Johnston) would be married this summer.

But, you see, I never believed they'd be married. In fact, I thought their engagement was a fiction put on by the Palin family to help win the Presidential election. And, unfortunately, I was right. As I noted, this kid had a very pretentious name ("Tripp Easton Mitchell Johston"), but not what was far more important--a father married to his mother....

But the issue I do care about is who will be the next Republican Presidential nominee. And how so-called social conservatives continue, with a straight face, to praise baby grandmama Sarah Palin (and chose her as their conservative of the year). She was not at home, when the pregnancy happened. She was busy blindly chasing her ambitions. And this is what happens when you have a working mother and a Mr. Mom, i.e., the Palins. Now, Todd Palin can proudly wear a new title, Mr. Grand-Mom....

The only one I feel sorry for here: this kid, who has the misfortune of being born to a single mother in a family that has far more pretensions than actual good values. Good luck, Tripp. You'll need it. For your sake, I wish it were otherwise.

Sorry, kid, but you're just not the luckiest bastard on earth. Or even in Alaska.

(Hmmm . . . am I still allowed to use the word, "bastard"?)...

I just told you I do not have one.
Somehow I knew that you would press the
point, obviously hoping to expose me as a
crazed Romney fan or Jindal Junkie or Newt freak.
You really are beginning to look a bit obsessed in
your attachment to Mrs. Palin.

You need to read a bit more closely. I did not suggest you were stupid or evil. I get tires of folks who want to eat their own because they aren’t perfect. The democrat party wins because they ignore this kind of crap and elect people who will pass the legislation they think is important. I will take a hard line no more tax increases strict constructionst over a G W Bush any day of the week. I don’t care a wit about their children do.The only way this causes problems for Palin is within the GOP. The dems don’t care one way or the other. They will make up whatever is needed in order to win. As I keep saying, we need a strong message with a clear messenger (think 1980 people). That will be more than enough

This is exactly why we can’t find good leaders in either party. Not only is the candidate attacked but it’s open season on their family too. Not too many people have the stomach for governance considering the attacks their innocent family will be subject to. Well, unless you’re a progressive socialist democrat and then you know that not only will your family not have to suffer but the media will not say one negative word about you either.

She’s just a kid and it’s nobodies business who she marries or doesn’t marry.

Yup. Debbie Schlussels ugly rant is on the same level as the Bible. Just go away.

You said this.... "Serious writers make their points (as wrong as they may be) without innuendo and insults. "

I went right back to the source of all truth... but it wasn't enough for you.

I will ask you a two point question... Does Ann Counter use sarcasm and insults to make her point. Do you consider her a serious writer?

Isn’t Todd at home? At least a lot of the time. I am not sure. I am amused, though, at the number of people on here who presume to know all about what is going on in The Palin household. She may be a bad mother or she may not. We do not know. But I do know that you can do everything absolutely correct as a parent and the child may still make this mistake. I have 3 teenage daughters and 2 sons and my wife and I are extremely activity in their lives (my wife is a stay-at-home mom). If something goes wrong it will not be for lack of love, caring or diligence. It is called free will. I like Sarah and hope she continues her career. I do not hold this against her at all.

And I grow tired of people who accuse others of eating their own because they disagree with their POV. I never said anything about Palin other than that this is likely to be a problem for her. And you have basically agreed with my assessment. There you go.

I am obsessed about pointing out how pathetically hypocritical many "Conservatives" have become. You folks (not targetting you specifically) happily slide into the gutter to tear down not only good Conservative candidates but also try to drag down their families and anything associated with them.

Then you wonder why there is no one leading Conservatism or the Republican Party. It makes you pawns of the left... actively or passively.

As I said, by the standards applied to Palin, we would never had a Reagan and would regard Goldwater and Thatcher as utter failures.

Since you claim to have no favorite candidate, I have to assume that you drag down other Conservatives for no other reason than blind nihilism.

Very catty article. MEow.

The two young parents of this baby are ultimately responsible for the pregnancy, not Gov. Palin. Blaming Gov. Palin shows Ms. Schlussel’s liberal tendencies. Responsibility lies with the individual’s actions, not finding someone else to blame.

Hopefully the two young people will do what’s best for their new baby regardless (and in spite of) of any political fallout. They have chosen a hard path, but not an impossible one. Many have overcome these challenges.

Ms. Schlussel uses bombastic words, baby-mamma, bastard, this kid, baby grandmamma, to show her disdain for Gov. Palin. Ms. Schlussel says far more about herself in this article than Gov. Palin, Bristol, or Levi.

I like Debbie, but this column make sher look freakin stupid. Bristol is of age and can determine what she wants to with her life.

Free will's a bitch...and so is Debbie Schlussel.

Blindly chasing ambitions? Yeah, Sarah was 9mo. pregnant and quite possibly had just given birth the month Bristol got pregnant.

No. Coulter is an entertainer and attack machine, highly entertaining and riling the left, BUT she is passing valuable information through this to her audience. For this I like her, though I don't agree with her always on style and substance.

Schlussel and ilk merely insult without saying anything worthwile. You can learn a thing or two from Coulter... but I can't see anything redeeming about the above "article".

You said this.... "Serious writers make their points (as wrong as they may be) without innuendo and insults. " I went right back to the source of all truth... but it wasn't enough for you.

The answer stands before your eyes! The Bible tells us the truth, it is worthwile and valuable!

What is Schlussel telling us other than how foulmouthed and petty she is?

Have you ever asked your mom and dad if you were actually planned in advance? You might be an accident yourself.

LOL. I found out a few years ago I was an accident! "Legitimate", but still an accident!

I used to laugh at Hillary’s accusation of a “vast right-wing conspiracy” but now I’m starting to belive it after McCain was nominated.

The trashing of Sarah is not just liberals. There is an orchestrated effort by the ivy-league, Dhimmirat-lites (moderates) in New York and Washington to destroy her well in advance of 2012. Why is that? They aren’t real conservatives and do not share the values with much of America.

Now since Schlussel has been a fixture in those same types of circles, it makes you wonder who she is working for this go around. Or, maybe she is just “applying” for a position.

Frankly, its time we elected someone who does not have lengthy ties to Washington and New York. And not allow the east coast media to nominate our candidates this next time.

Sarah may or may not be the candidate in 2012 - that is a whole lot of time. But she is definitely my frontrunner by leaps and bounds at present.

Why the hell do we need liberals and the MSM to rip Sarah apart? 'Alleged' conservatives are doing just fine on their own. Their just too stupid to see they're willing dupes to the orders of RATS.

As for this Debbie person, she can join Peggy Newman, Kathleen Parker, and Megan McCain at the democrat registration line. Any woman who writes such caddy, infantile commentary should never be considered A, a conservative, or B, a woman.
