Blindly chasing ambitions? Yeah, Sarah was 9mo. pregnant and quite possibly had just given birth the month Bristol got pregnant.

I had thought about that. Wondering how it would feel to be 17 and be told your mother was having a baby-

then finding out it was going to be a down syndrome baby.

Pretty life changing for the whole family. Pretty scary for a teenager, old enough to know it was going to be hard to have a kid in the family that was going to be “different”, too young to understand how to accept that and cope. Teens sometimes are so dramatic and selfish- everthing is all about them. I wondered if Bristol's recklessness in getting preggers may have been partly from acting out her grief and anger with what was happening to her family, by turning to her boyfriend.
