and the calf and the young lion
and the fatling together;
and a little child shall lead them.

For All The Cat~People Of Amy's Place
Paladin

As you can plainly see, Mother has just managed to close her eyes
And not think it too presumptuous that it would be very wise
For you curious Humans to keep a safe and prudent distance
While taking notes and making flashes with annoying persistence
Writing stories that are from the way I see it, upside down
For the focus of my attention is drawn to Mother, sleeping sound
Who gave me and my sister life and will teach us to survive
Though there will always be more to learn no matter how hard we strive
And because of that, I've nominated myself to be my family's Paladin
To keep at bay the stuff of sudden awakenings which would be a sin
Because Mother has worked very hard today and is deserving of a reward
And if she doesn't get it, I might become rather rude and untoward!

Faithfulness In Everything
Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. Colossians 3:17
In August 2007, a major bridge in Minneapolis collapsed into the Mississippi River, killing 13 people. In the weeks that followed, it was difficult for me not to think about that tragedy whenever crossing a bridge over a body of water.
Some time later, I was watching an episode of Dirty Jobs on the Discovery Channel. Host Mike Rowe was talking to an industrial painter whose work he was trying to duplicate. Theres really no glory in what you do, he said. No, the painter agreed, but its a job that needs to be done.
You see, that man paints the inside of the Mackinac Bridge towers in Northern Michigan. His unnoticed job is done to ensure that the steel of the magnificent suspended structure wont rust from the inside out, compromising the integrity of the bridge. Most of the 12,000 people who cross the Straits of Mackinac each day arent even aware that they are depending on workers like this painter to faithfully do their jobs well.
God also sees our faithfulness in the things we do. Though we may think our deedsbig and smallsometimes go un-noticed, they are being observed by the One who matters most. Whatever our task today, lets do all in the name of the Lord Jesus (Col. 3:17).
Whatever task you find to do,
Regardless if its big or small,
Perform it well, with all your might,
Because theres One who sees it all. Sper

LOL..
We should see some sun today..South of me in Austin they had golf ball sized hailstorms..lots of damage ..
I feel so fortunate not to have had that come to my area.
Last night the sunset was the prettiest I ever recall..I tried to find a picture depicting the gorgeous robin’s egg blue sky with pink puffy clouds and could not find one just right.
Of course the rain is most welcome...we were in a terrible drought.
Hope you are feeling better.

The rain I can take...the hail can damage! Glad it missed you.
Yes, I know how beautiful the baby pinks and blues of the skies can be at certain times of the year. Its too pretty to describe, isn’t it?
I am glad you got your rain....your allergies are much better, I’m sure.
