Oh my, wouldn't that be great? So sad, but Mr. Nan won't go further than 90 miles and that takes hime two days to get over. I miss our traveling days so much, but he seems to be happy not to have to travel.
Good news about the leg. I'm going to a Chiropractor who is working on my lower back and showing me how to rehab the knee. And my family doctor assured me that it is not a blood clot. So, I'm feeling much more hopeful of getting back to normal.

That is great news about your leg, Nan.
Sounds like God heard our prayers.
Since Marissa started school (other than pre-school), my travels are limited. Sure miss being able to just get up and go.
Take care of yourself.
To: Majie Purple
Oh Majie ... it was not meant as a chastizement. I had hoped that you would understand that I was just trying to help.
Sweet dreams and please don’t be upset.
Hugs.
To: JustAmy
Well, I miss you not being able to come back to visit us. Especially since you have better use of your own legs now. You are doing such a great job with Marissa, but I don’t see how you do it all. I would be curled up in a fetal position in a corner somewhere. Two days a week with sweet Emma is almost more than I can handle.

Well, I am not as strict as a real parent would be. Sometimes it just isn’t worth it. I grab a nap a couple of days a week.
And I’m usually in bed by 9:30. I’m a real party person. LOL

In All Kinds Of Weather
Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20
When Jesus sent His disciples out, He gave them this promise: I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matt. 28:20). Literally, the word always means all the days, according to Greek scholars Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown.
Jesus didnt simply say, always, but all the days. That takes into account all our various activities, the good and bad circumstances surrounding us, the varied responsibilities we have through the course of our days, the storm clouds and the sunshine.
Our Lord is present with us no matter what each day brings. It may be a day of joy or of sadness, of sickness or of health, of success or of failure. No matter what happens to us today, our Lord is walking beside us, strengthening us, loving us, filling us with faith, hope, and love. As He envelops us with quiet serenity and security, our foes, fears, afflictions, and doubts begin to recede. We can bear up in any setting and circumstance because we know the Lord is at hand, just as He told Paul in Acts 18:10, I am with you.
Practice Gods presence, stopping in the midst of your busy day to say to yourself, The Lord is here. And pray that you will see Him who is invisibleand see Him everywhere.
Gods unseen presence comforts me,
I know Hes always near;
And when lifes storms besiege my soul,
He says, My child, Im here. D. De Haan

Thanks for such a fine start to the day, wonderful!
May I add;
Give Him His Due
As the sun kisses the distant hillsides at dawning
I arise, half asleep and half awake, softly yawning
As I glimpse the new day, given to me in His love
I bow my head, praise him who saved me, the Dove
The gift of a new day, and the chance to share it
to reach out and touch it, humbles me more than a bit
and sweeter the day becomes in retrospection and silence
as I exercise my own faith, and practice inner penance
See the beauty of even a rainy day, and take time to pray
share trouble, remember a friend, He listens to what you say
accept each day as the gift it is given as, and thank Him
there, just as the warming sun lifts above the distant rim

While I'm a big fan of both Johnny Horton and the War of 1812, I do believe that Ray's parody is actually better than Johnny's original Battle of New Orleans. Did y'all see the one Ray did about the '92 election and Ross Perot on Larry King talking about the "Giant
Suckin' Sound" as jobs went to Mexico because of NAFTA?

Good morning, Sundog.
I enjoyed the 1909 video. I reminded me of the old silent movies.
Thank you for sharing the link.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday.
