First, let me ask, is anyone else having trouble with slowness in posting, etc.?
Now since you gave me the name of Indigo Bunting, my son had them one year, about 4 years ago. They built 2 or 3 times in a birdhouse he had! He only lives 10-12 miles from me and I’ve never had them here!
I used to know the names of those little birds I posted but I don’t think its there anymore! I tried posting it early this morning and got so frustrated and nervous, I had to quit. It was taking so much time, and I thought it wasn’t worth it. LOL! I do get frustrated sometimes and wish I could go on vacation! Really! My husband and I always went to the beach in summer and I miss it so bad, I get the blues sometimes.

Thank you all for thoughts and prayers regarding dad's progress, he is so much better though tired tonight, his appetite is back and he is pleased to be home.
Here are some photos of dad, the first 2 are taken in hospital a couple of days before he came home.
The last 2 was taken a few minutes ago, he is a bit tired tonight and so far has decided to stay in his end of the room. He thinks he may have a cold coming as he has a sore throat though it maybe thrush as he has suffered with this on off ever since the op. He is watching the TV that is why he looking so intense
I am getting his doctor to come in tomorrow (or a doctor from the practice I doubt his doctor will be doctor on duty for home visits tomorrow), to check his throat to see if it is a cold coming or thrush plus also where he sweats he is finding it very itchy, so maybe his blood is overheating or it may just be because he is wet at times that he is itching. Maybe though the doctor can give him either some cream to relieve it or maybe an injection similar to that they give cats and dogs.

Now that, would have been a good choice for an inaugural poem. For another president and not the cranky spazz that lied and cheated his way into My House.

We will offer it to the sad landlord out on the balcony. To the dreamers at the window.
To the hand waving for no particular reason We will offer it. I do this everyday despite reactions. One good reaction beats 5 bad ones any day.

In a Martial sort of mood today I guess?
The Last Watchtower
Oh black the blood soaked Tor where good men fell
where fates and circumstances mens fortunes did sell
Choices made were oft the last amid the battles din
and those who fell, would have to answer for their sins
Broken swords and honour too, littered the broken land
and those who ran, lived that day, away from bitter sand
No right or wrong in the end, just fates cast so easily away
and those who fell were lost to all, what a price they pay
Death showed no mercy on the Mounted or the Foot, I say
all were equal fodder, for his dark sickle that bitter day
Noble and ignoble died side by side, brothers of the blade
the only victor, the screaming Harpies on their bloody raid
Good fell before evil, as good men turned and ran in haste
for many were gutless cretins, unfit to serve what they faced
Honour was ever so expendable and so the last battle lost
and now the pathetic losers, hide from the terrible cost
The time to come, the terrible price of evils reign will hurt
and those whod change it all, hide their face in the basest dirt
I weep for them, I weep for us, who remain behind to onward go
to wonder what greatness might have been, if honour had been so
Now the dark winds whisper across the stark dank Tor
of heroes and fools and the past that will be no more
I sit here and remember, my task till the end of time so truly dear
to recall the great, and least, who tried as the cowards ran in fear
