After reading all the recent beer postings, I got curious: What's in your beer fridge? And to add a philosophical angle, what WOULD BE in your beer fridge if you could have any beer you wanted there?
I just wrote a piece on how to build your own if you are interested.

Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat. I’m a big fan of wheat beers.
That’s actually what got me thinking about posting this thread. Didn’t want to get too off-topic.
mmmmmBEER!
I’d swear I’ve seen it here in the Wilmington area. Hmmmm. Oh, well, if you can’t find any Dad’s, go with Barq’s as a fair substitute.
I’m SO ready for this day to be over, I want to run the grill, I don’t care if it’s 45° outside!
Gimme a big pile of glowing charcoal and a cold beer (or two...or three) and I’ll cook it right...whatever it is!
Sam Adams Winter Brew and dcoke.
Is the Winter Brew like the Winter Ale?
I’m a fan of almost every Sam Adams except the Boston Lager...just don’t care for that one! Red Hook ESB and Winter Lager are also great beers.
Same beer here.... ALthough we had to drive 6 hours away to get the Yuengling.....
Racer 5 IPA
Avery IPA
Three Floyds Pride and Joy Mild Ale
Great Lakes Brewing Company Dortmunder Gold
and a 30 pack of Miller High Life light in cans for during the week.
I read through your piece. I only wish I had the space (and frankly the skill) to construct something like that. Although I’m in the Chicago area, so keeping things relatively cool isn’t usually an issue — the basement is ok.
I see you’ve got three batches going now? How do you go through that much beer? Are you running a small tavern in your garage?
Can you add me to your homebrew ping list?
San Miguel, made for consumption in the Philippines.
SA Oktoberfest is one of my very favorites. I drank...well, a lot of it at a tailgate party back in mid-October. Ah, memories!
Have you tried Michelob Dunkelweisse? It’s pretty dark for a wheat beer, and it’s got a different flavor, but definitelly drinkable. And fairly cheap, too!
No, but I’m making a beer run after work and I’m always up for a new beer experience. Thanks for the tip.
I had a Sapporo at a Japanese steakhouse once...it was brewed in Canada. Made me laugh!
Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale and Bigfoot Barleywine Ale, Flying Dog Horn Dog Barleywine Ale, and my local Houston microbrewers St. Arnold’s Christmas Ale, Amber Ale, Elissa IPA, and Porter. A fine collection.
First, welcome to the homebrewers ping list.
Yeah, I have 3 batches going, but I do have a good excuse. The state fair is coming this summer and the hotly contested homebrew competition is a part of it. I fully intend to take home at least a few medals. Since I am entering 4 brews, I needed to have them ready and at their peak when judging comes in late May. Thats why I am brewing now.
Also, it get very hot here in Sacto in the summer. When it is 105 degrees, the last thing I want to do is stand around a 150,000 BTU burner for a few hours. I much prefer brewing in the winter then stashing away the kegged and carbonated beer so I can just pull off a keg and put it on tap.
Well, that and the fact that my friends drink like fish is why I have so much on hand.
I am actually making an additional 25 gallons in the next few weeks for future consumption.
Did I mention I like beer?
LOL
Cheers,

Please add me to the homebrews list. I haven’t brewed in a few years, but I have all the equipment. Can you suggest any mild ales or lagers?
Who needs a wine cellar when you’ve got a beer fridge like that? I’m trying not to be envious...it wouldn’t be Christian!
Looks like I need to widen my horizons...
