So what's in your beer Fridge?
February 20, 2009 | Self

After reading all the recent beer postings, I got curious: What's in your beer fridge? And to add a philosophical angle, what WOULD BE in your beer fridge if you could have any beer you wanted there?

Then it’s not a ‘beer fridge’, is it? Unless Mrgetyourgun keeps his there?

You don’t live anywhere near Wilmington, NC, do you?

I do. I live in Fayettenam. Love the Wilmington Brunswick County area. I am a salty dog by birth. From Craven/Carteret Area.

If you make it this way, I’d love a sample of your wares!

I’ll take you to some local microbreweries in exchange...

I have a fridge full of favorites. Guinness Draught, Guinness Extra Stout, Bass Ale, Stella Artois, Sierra Nevada IPA, Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA, Stone Brew Levitation, and Various Sam Adams. And, to top it off, when I need to slum it, Miller High Life.

Burp!

Any sailor worth his salt, would know that is a “screw” not a “propeller”. Propellers are on airplanes, screws are on ships and boats. But then again, if the rename properly, who would buy it?

Two cases of home brew, wherein I substituted one-half pound of malt extract for one-half pound of sugar. Tasty, if I do say so myself. Next on the menu is two cases of wheat beer.

I may do just that. My Army son is being transfered to Ft. Jackson S.C. this spring, so I might go there for a visit.
I’ll let ya know. Thanks!

Outstanding taste in beer you’ve got there! ;-) The B&T is great. Ha, now I wish it was later in the day.

I have 2 different IPA's, a stout and a wicked brown ale on tap.

But on deck, I have Bohemian Pils and my Mexican that will both be ready in a month and a half.

Did I mention I like beer?

Cheers,
