So what's in your beer Fridge?
February 20, 2009 | Self

After reading all the recent beer postings, I got curious: What's in your beer fridge? And to add a philosophical angle, what WOULD BE in your beer fridge if you could have any beer you wanted there?

Matt’s but I haven’t seen any in a decade.

Usually, I buy Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale, SN ESB, Lord Chesterfield Ale, Natural Light (low carb) or a dark German.

Normally we store

Samuel Adams - Because we are proud Americans

Henry Weinhart - Because it taste like Corona, but its not. Henry's doesn't come from Mexico.

St Pauli Girl - Well, quite frankly its all about the girl on the label. She's HOT

Guinness - Because of my fighting Irish heritage. The closer we get to St. Patrick's Day, the more Guinness we have. And boy, the Guinness Beef Stew I make with it on St Patrick's Day is my favorite meal of the year.

Bud - When the guys come over to watch football. I'm not wasting the good stuff on those clowns.

I liked the Lindemens(?)fruit flavored beers—heavy green bottle with a foil wrapped top, Belgian import I think, A perfectly nasty sounding little concoction by the Dixie Brewing co. called White Chocolate Moose—Kind of a cream soda on steroids. Xingu, a seriously black beer as in no light comes through the glass. Virgil’s Root Beer is also on that list and If i could ever find a decent birch beer and ginger beer here in ‘Bama those would be there too

Oh and for the Harry Potter fans, keep a little A&W Cream Soda and Butterscotch Schnapps in the fridge and make your own Butter Beer.

Congrats on your latest Nat’l Championship, I was rooting for you guys. I expected a higher MOV, though. I was beer-free during the game because I had to work graveyard and went in late to watch it. Oh, well.

Y B&T is one of my wife’s favorite cheapies (besides me!). I can drink Yeungling all day, especially when running the grill!
