Repeatedly, FR moderators have moved TOP postings related to current NEWS and calls for conservative ACTIVISM from the News and Activism section, over to "blogger's and personal" which has no traffic by comparison.
I fully understand Jim Robinson's original purpose in launching FR, to provide a community in which conservatives could get TRUTH not available in the MSM, information not available in the MSM and access to fellow conservatives so that we could work together towards a conservative agenda.
Yet time after time, FR moderators bury this information over in "blogger's and personal" and kill story after story, vital to the conservative movement.
Why?
Without a change in this policy, I am through posting to FR. The moderators on FR have less sense than the moderators on DU, where they at least work to bury the opposition, instead of themselves.
What gives? Anyone understand this self-defeating policy?
I dunno. It's been a week and we're not rolling in milk and honey yet.
You need not worry, if comrade Obama has his way sites like this will be extinct. I am sure he will reach out to the Chinese to find out how to control content on the internet.
Hey! You just turned 8! Happy FreepDay! (Though I'm sure you lurked for some time before signing up - many do)
Policy ain't changed, yet here you still are.
Not the green sweater!!! Socks to be you, what with all The Global Warming we've been having. :-)

No, and no.
Anyone Else Fed UP With the GOP?

Hit the dusty trail
Good grief, have you not even read the posts to you? JR answered your question before you posted this!
Most blogs get posted or moved to bloggers. Thats what its for. Lots of people come here to promote their favorite blogs, so we gave them a place to do so. But there is no hard and fast policy. The mods have plenty of leeway with blogs or personal posts. On the two examples you gave, yours is in news activism, the other in bloggers.
There are no mod notes attached to either thread, so theyre probably right where the posters posted them. 142 posted on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 11:50:01 AM by Jim Robinson
There were no mod notes so there was no moving. You likely posted in the blogger forum by accident. I am assuming that you remember that your post goes into the forum you were in when you posted your article?
That idjit would have been banned in the not too distant past.
Now he's a "liberal" spouting his crap all over the threads.
Kitty has gotten far too tamed.
LOL! Well, I didn’t mean to hurt anyone! :)
You may find this interesting. I had an IM chat with a friend last night who is a regular commentator for a major media player, she is also a FReeper who mostly just lurks. She says she only reads the ‘Bloggers’ and ‘Chat’ sections because she already sees the news from a hundred different sources. She said she was not alone, several people she knows in the media who lurk here do the same thing. Bloggers apparently is where influential people look.
I was just getting back to my non-cleanroom desk and was seeing the vision in my head again. I must be twisted that way or something, but the whole Orly Taitz thing just cracks me up!
I am definitely twisted that way. No worries!
Hey Travis...bad news...out of a job April 1st. I can’t complain...GM has been good to me. It’s one of the last great companies. I’ll get some severance and start looking for a new job asap.
George
Hey Joe, I’m out at GM...April 1st...sucks! They have been a good company to work for though.
Start dusting off that resume and get it out there now.
The sooner the better to beat the rush.
I already turned in the resume...to HR...not holding out hope for a GM job...so I’ begin...I’ll find a job. I will have some severance and it doesn’t take effect until April 1st-luckier than most...thanks!
Welcome.
