American Concept cars
Viacomit ^ | 10/21 | Hugh N. Owen

The concept cars are made to show the know-how of the marks car, to make us dream or precede a future version of series. In any case, in years 50-60, the designers and engineers car had a futuristic vision and overflowed of imagination. All the manufacturers of planet their exercise of style at that time is made, but I have a preference for the American prototypes. And you?

I think the American car makers could go for quality... that would be a new concept to them.

Hmmm, they had video of the Mako Shark, but no pics of any kind of the original Stingray show car. What a shame. No pics of the Aerovette either. :(

The future isn't what it used to be.

That top car is pretty!

Modern cars are classless, sexless, lifeless, but very fuel efficient.

Right. Good thing the executives had nothing to do with the wrong direction of the companies.

I have seen a glimpse of the future and it’s not pretty.

Born in 1933...

..back to the future,

..circa 1955, multi-tensioned crumple zones, ABS inboard front wheel disc brakes, protected gas tank, side impact protection.

To go further describing safety innovations would make it to easy, what is it?

Ford Nucleon, ca. 1958, powered by a small nuclear reactor in the rear of the vehicle (theoretically).

What happened to the future? It was once a place where everything was cool like the Jetsons. Now the future is seen as an evil place with global warming, wars, starvation and awful stuff. We need to re-capture the future. The only positive vision of the future is found in Star-Trek.

Edsel's brakes didn't have a hydraulic computer automatically redistributing stopping power to each corner of the car by determining G force with a simple trolly/lever system under the brake button.

Yes, button, the throttle was a small metal rod so that to get on the brake you just pivot your foot instead of lifting you leg and moving it over to the brake pedal (oh, mon diux, how crude).

You see, at speed, pivoting the foot is faster, could be the dif. btw. crashing and not crashing.

The folks who built this comfy car on a dirt floor factory had made the rash decision that not crashing was better.

It's OK, I'm authorized to tell you that you will successfully make it through these trying times. There will be pain and destruction, but much stupidity will also perish, freeing mankind for the glorious future that is our destiny.

I am also authorized to tell you to quit electing Democrats.

They aren't human.

"Democrats. . . They aren't human."

Hmmmm.

Democrats lack physical courage, so they're not Klingons.
Not smart enough to be Vulcans, or even Romulans.
Money grubbing, cowardly, with women issues . . . .

Ahaha! Democrats are Ferengi!

Explains Obama's ears, his missing birth certificate, everything!

Only problem is they suck at business...

The only have one rule of acquisition, take everything from the successful and spread it to the non hackers in society...

Flawless analysis. Kudos!

Now we need to have an orbiting ship scan for Ferengi bio-signs, lock phasers, and do the right thing...

"Only problem is they suck at business" True. Perhaps a Bolian, as they are generally soft types, avoid conflict, are "into" assisted suicide and generally work as hair dressers and waiters:
