Same here. Obama-mania aside, I don't want to hear about every murder, every abduction, every "what if this terrible thing happens" story. It's just too much and I couldn't take it any more.

I haven't watched the news, cable or local, in the last few months and I've discovered that people are still murdered, kidnapped and otherwise mistreated regardless of whether I know about it or not.

So, I'm content to watch the Andy Griffith Show or a good old movie on TCM or AMC instead :)

Cook's first album has been a disappointment.

I heard his single when he was on Saturday Night live a few months ago. It was just okay. I had no desire to listen to it again.
