She did sing well, and not sure about Kara’s questions.

Helped her wade through that song. LOL!

Kara must be drinking from Paula’s cup again.

How bad is it, when the new judge is trying to “Out-airhead” Paula?!!
To: retrokitten
>>Me either! I dont get her appeal at all!
She has no appeal.
I suspect her chances of repeating is the same as TAR: Family Edition.
And since no one can remember her name, it won’t be much of a career help, either.

Yup, but she’s got pipes, if I remember correctly.
To: MagUSNRET
LOL! You are right. When you out airhead Paula- you have problems.

She sings a Alicia Keys song, "Some People Want It All".
It's okay. Not great.
[They're rotating the judges comments again this week]
Kara: It's obvious you had a voice. You okay, sweetie? (Taylor is teary-eyed) Performance leaves me a bit cold.
Paula: Beautiful gift. We heard you sing this in Hollywood. This was your chance to show something new.
Simon: I genuinely couldn't remember you. I can understand why after hearing that song. Bland. Generic. Lot of 17 year olds try to be older. I think you're going to struggle tonight.
The music cues and Ryan jumps on stage--everybody forgetting that Randy hasn't added his comments yet.
Randy: Thanks, Ryan! (To Taylor) You didn't tell us anything special about you.

speaking of my boredom... we haven’t heard much about “IDOL GIVES BACK”, now have we? I’m hoping they’ve moved on from the 80’s era variety-show-telethon fixation.
