Anne Marie sings "Natural Woman"
It starts out weak. That might be because she's nervous. She seems to get a little better as the song goes on. But it's not great. She's forcing it.
Randy: Yo, yo. Here's the deal, this song wasn't the right choice. Subpar.
Kara: That song is so big--you have KILL IT. It doesn't feel young. I look at you and I want to hear "Love Song".
Paula: Compared to what we've heard, you actually did better. It requires a tremendous about of soulfullness.
Simon: If I'm being honest with you, if we were searching for the best hotel singer in California .... (audience boos, mildly) This crowd is easy to please. But in the real world, it wasn't good enough. Too old fashioned. You may have ruined your one chance. Sorry.
