The “HOOD” Inaugural ball.....complete with black racist RAP CRAP..........and the audience was apoplectic with their applause while ABC commentators fawned over the freaks (Check limo’s for slashed tires later)
Sorry...but this “Soul Train” is gonna go right over a cliff.
All right, first girl was not good. Why? Why is she going to Hollywood?
I don't know ... they've turned down others who could sing better. But she'll look good on camera during the Hollywood round.
Oh the suspense! DunDunDun!!!
:)
& btw my typo correction for the night, lol!
toss the ‘ in lets.
He looked like someone from Shawshank Redemption complete with shirt buttoned all the way up.
Holy Teaser, Batman!
We'll find out next week.
Same bat time.
Same bat station.
Good night all -- it was fun as always.
UGH.
I’m glad the only TV I allowed myself today was American Idol, and I half-expected them to say, “Due to the unprecedented, earth-shattering, loin-quivering, leg-tingling event today, we are pre-empting tonight’s Idol to bring you a 3-hour love gaze at our new President for Life—Barack Obama!”
Like I said, I HALF-expected. (and am I relieved!)
Four years ago, at the Inaugural Ball, We FReepers had a fantastic time. Best Company in the world. The band was Capital Offense amd Governor Mike Huckabee on vocals/guitar.
LOL!!
I had that same worry, cautiously turned TV on and thank goodness AI was on, no other TV today, just couldn’t take it
I regret not going. :-(
Hopefully, we can get another in 2012. That should give me enough time to get in shape. ;-)
but I did have fawning coworkers. One of them said, I just couldnt believe it! Every time they said, President Obama I was like oh my God!!! Me too, but probably not for the same reasons.......
Ugh, I know what you mean. I did have a few funny times during it though. I teach 4th grade and when they introduced the past Presidents and they called Pres. Jimmy Carter’s name one of my boys said “Good Lord is he still alive, he was like President in the 70’s or something! He was a hippie!” It was all I could do not to die laughing. ;) It was a good day though, I was able to talk alot about the ceremony and the importance. Also, on Friday when we were doing our lessons on MLK jr. I did let my students know that he was a registered Republican and we talked about why he was a Republican... so my kids do get alot of history lessons from me, not just what they get from their textbooks.
LOL! 1702! That’s just like what they do.
Oh my, he did look like the caveman! that is funny and you would be observant enough to catch it. :)
Very nice. Thanks for posting that, peggy.
LOL, did you watch the flag boy and his high steps. It was raunchy but boy it was flaming funny!!! It definately was exactly how I expected it to be and it was sad.
was almost scared to turn TV on
I wasn't looking forward to it either. Network TV isn't safe for me to watch--it's all "O" all the time. I'm watching Broken Trail now (for the fourth time) on AMC :)
I didn’t hear anything tonight that was memorable. It seems they passed a couple of women through that were not very good, but they seem to do that every year.
