I think its because they didn't bring in the money last year that they thought they would.
So do I. And the ratings were lower too, I bet.
And really, how can they beg for money when their messiah is in the White House? Everything's going to be perfect now!!!
sigh ... LOL :)
Yeah :) I drew these two originals to give to him ...
... and DrDeb printed out a copy of this one.
She met the President last spring and we were able to send letters and different things to her so she could pass them on to his staff. I got the President's note a few weeks later. I can't thank Deb enough for making that possible :)
LOL!!
Fudgicle. It sounds funnier :)
As in: "Let my schnipples go"? :)
I think that’s the last funny movie Mike Meyers made—LOL!
I think they should have made him sing a second song, or start from the beginning. All he sang was the last verse, trying to hit all the big notes. What a crock.
I think your Sarah Palin one is exceptional, too. I think she would be tickled, if you sent her one.
Are you working on any new ones?
Amen!

You are such an amazing talent .... I love all your portraits! :)
You’re very kind, thank you so much! You made my morning :)
??? She makes money??? Singing??? How.....who.....what kind.....I'm speechless.
The way American Idol keeps bragging her sorry butt up, I wouldn’t be surprised if they bailed her out.

Von Smith - (This guy reminds me of 'Peter Brady')
Danny Gokey - This one looks a bit like Robert Downey jr, imo)
Lil Rounds - She reminds me of LaToya London.
Do you agree that this is the top 5?
Former American Idol contestant and Oscar winning actress, Jennifer Hudson will return to the spotlight when she sings the national anthem at the Super Bowl. This will be her first public appearance since the shooting deaths of her mother, brother and nephew.
In October, Jennifer Hudsons 57-year-old mother, Darnell Donerson, and the singers 29-year-old brother, Jason, were shot to death in her mothers home in Chicago. Jennifer Hudsons 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, was found shot a few days later, in Jennifer Hudsons sisters (Julia), missing SUV. Jennifer Hudsons estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour has been charged with the shooting murders of her family.
Jennifer Hudson will open the NBC broadcast of the National Football League championship on February 1, in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Jennifer Hudson is scheduled to also sing at the 2009 MusiCares Person of the Year show just weeks before she will perform at the 51st annual Grammy Awards on February 8. Jennifer Hudson is nominated for best R&B album for her self-titled debut album.

The second night of "American Idol" delivered an unexpected gift to Fox: a bigger audience.
An estimated 30.5 million people tuned in Wednesday to television's most popular program, up from the 30.3 million the night before for the eighth season opener.
Nielsen Media Research said it's the first time in five years that the audience increased from the first night to the second, a development Fox attributes to good word of mouth about the first night.
"We're thrilled," Mike Darnell, chief of alternative programming at Fox, said.
------------------------------------------------------- Or, it might be that people had other things going the first night, or didn't realize the season had started that first night.
I think by focusing on the good instead of the weird, they may see their numbers increase even more.

Published: January 16, 2009PARIS Music sales worldwide fell by about 7 percent last year as another sizable jump in digital sales failed to make up for a deepening decline in the compact disc market, according to John Kennedy, chief executive of the industrys main international trade group.
Revenue from music sold over the Internet, via mobile phones and in other digital forms, rose by 25 percent last year, to $3.7 billion, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry said in a report set for publication Friday. Digital sales accounted for 20 percent of the industrys revenue, up from 15 percent a year earlier.
But a nosedive in sales of CDs in the United States, aggravated by the economic downturn and widespread piracy, took its toll in the fourth quarter of the year, when the industry typically posts its strongest sales. Meanwhile, growth in downloads from online music stores like Apples iTunes has slowed.
LMAO! Where did ya get that line from an old James Cagney movie?! It must not get much better for you ladies than a S-E-X-Y William Gates! Just look at those dreamy deep blue been-up-all-night-writing-computer-code eyes!
I am concerned so far. I really have not seen anyone (that they have shown) that I feel is star material. Very weak auditions to date.
