Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
What do you bet we get a heavy does of Chloe back next week?
I missed all except last 15 min so will try to catch it on HULU this week.
I did figure out MOST of what happened by reading this thread.
Few days talked to someone about TV - I mentioned 24 was the only show I watch. They said “figures, a warmongers program”
I am sure they meant that as a compliment /s
Cats are an exception.....mne get all worked up when Jack comes on the big screen.
That was Chase....Kim’s Baby Daddy.
Place marker for next week! Whoo Hoo!
Where’s TONY?????
The best part was when Jack told That-70s-Senator to shut his pie hole. I hope Renee springs Chloe from the lockup, or that Chloe and Garfy thrown down. Who knows where Tony will show up or what side he’ll be on. All I know is he’ll be with the good guys when all is said and done. Ethan needs to seriously put the smack-down on Chelsea, that vindictive little brat. Still sad about Buchanan.
BTY, I thought she had a little "thing" for SS Aaron.
Oh, and if you go back to where Candyman was threatening to cut out the daughter's eye of the Pres. didn't open the door, I really thought Jack was going to whack her over the head or blast the door lock shut to keep her from leaving.
Man, was I wrong about Bill.
That leaves Tony.....
You were very close but it was Bill not Tony who ended up “sacrificing himself to save others”
.....and by the way, Larry is such a dick.
Question, who is going to hire Freckles now that Larry has fired her?
I think everyone’s going to want to see that Slumdog guy get his as an evil terrorist in “24” because he was so very nasty in Slumdog.
I think they cast this (in late 2007) with Hillary as Prez and Edwards as Veep.
But whatever happened with Helmethead, his wife?? The one he fell in love with on one season, when she was sent to CTU, who moved to the White House with Biscuit from Ally McBeal the next season?
I think Bill had him on speed dial and had asked him to come interact at some point. Remember they said they had someone they trust? And we assumed it was Tony?
I didn’t know she was gay.
Yep. Jack's testimony in the first episode of this season is almost the same as Mitch's in the beginning of "Extreme Measures". There's a new Mitch Rapp book planned for Oct. 2009, called "Pursuit of Honor"!
Man, I’m still bummed over Bill.
I saw where Morris is coming back next week. I bet they call on him to break the news to Chloe. Then he gets dragged back into the plot somehow.
And....that preview scene where Jack was confronting Senator Sissy. Is he one of the traitors? I’d love to see Jack storm the well of the Senate while he’s bloviating about “human rights” with Ted Kennedy!
"not that there's anything wrong with that"..
/Seinfeld
It could have just been me (projecting), but I thought for sure I heard Jack tell 70's guy, "Shut the ---- up!" (but of course the sound was clipped...)
Prez’s daughter is a psycho. She had a very peculiar expression on her face after touching reconciliation with Mommy.
She’s up to something not good. Don’t know if she’s in on some plot but she’s definitely gonna make trouble
Random though: I’m sure you all remember Sandra Palmer, the loathed and despised sister of President Palmer??
We were watching Enemy of the State the other night and she played Will Smith’s wife. I suddenly realized she is quite the dead ringer for Michelle Obama and she always has that b...y expression on her face.
This was a great episode. I watched it too late to get in on the thread but I enjoyed reading it. I had to watch the tivo as I was at a meeting.
I agree, my thoughts were that she is involved with the plot and at some point her mother may give the go-ahead to Jack to interigate her his way!
The daughter in that show is a bitch.
