Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
As for Jonas Hodge, I don't know what his status is in DC, but he appeared in "24: Redemption", as the man who was behind the hinky investments, which Roger, the President's son, had found out about from his friend, and which was the reason both were murdered. He apparently was handling the money for Juma and his takeover of Sangala. I'm not sure what the 'shipment' is that was being discussed last night. Someone suggested it might be diamonds, which sounds plausible.
As for how he has knowledge of the security systems in the White House, I don't know. He might be the owner of the company that installed them, or he might have obtained the information the old fashioned way; bribery.
I do like Jon Voight in the part, though!

Once the information is retrieved, Garfy can’t make any sense of it and has to call on Chloe to decipher it. But it’s in a code Chloe doesn’t know so she calls in MORRIS!
No, Tim was still around after Jack was arrested. He and the Prez and Ethan talked in the hallway. I think that was the last we saw of him.
I don’t think Hodge’s shipment is diamonds. Like I said above, his office where he was eating overlooked some vast room...warehouse? But the weird thing was it had a big lighted “seal” on one wall...kind of official looking. I couldn’t get a good look at it on rewind.
I think the shipment may be some kind of WMD.

Jack has been in this predicament before, being held hostage with a group. The first version included a young boy who looked up to Jack as a father figure...remember?
If they would run a trailer showing Jack torturing Godawfulho, say 20 time a day, a week before the show, they would have the highest ratings in the history of earth. The dvd would bring in zillions.

Dang, I hope you’re wrong! Not Bill! Or any of them (except maybe Tony). I think Tony’s gonna end up “sacrificing” himself to save the others.
BTW, turned on the telly tonight to watch Am Idol. All was fine through the intro and then...nothin’. No sound, no picture. Called Comcast and the whole area is down.
Now, if this had been LAST NIGHT...I would have to sue them or something!

4..chases sniper back to boat
5..another shootout..captures Tony
6..Tortures sniper
7..get’s choked in a sleeper hold by JB
8..get’s pissed and goes out and get’s caught by bad guys
9..get’s shot and buried
10..recovered and brought back to life
11..rides with chloe and watches the computer wiz at work
12..tortures baby and mother (alleged)
13..invades Chewys safe house, shoots up the place, kills buncha thugs, saves the v-prez
14..busts into sistah and girlfriends house
15..follows in car chase "through the park"
16..slaps the shiite outta JB
17..goes hunting for Juma people
18..finds em, jumps on a boat
19..locates primary target (white House)
20..gets shot at..swims the Potomac (that alone would kill most human beings)
21..get’s caught, choked and is released when Chewey kid is kilt
22..back onna job..lipstick still perfect, hair is great, eye mascara not even smudged.
So, next time you think you've had a bad day, think of what FRECKLES does in half-a-day. She's got 12 more hours to go..if she lives through it!
