Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death
John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.
John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.
Us: How is John doing?
-snip- "John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept.
-snip-
Us: Have John and Kelly spent time with anyone since everyone arrived?
Ossi and McDermott: "John and Kelly have been pretty much locked away.
"We are staying here until John leaves. The autopsy should be on Monday.
-snip-
Us: It's been reported that Jett was left alone for several hours before being discovered. Can you clarify the timeline?
Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.
Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?
Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."
Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?
Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

flaglady47, why is this not a valid opinion?
yeah, i know...
He is a high level member of a cult who has been involved in some of the following:
“As information on Scientology’s more lurid undertakings became available, such as Operation Freakout, Operation Snow White, the Disconnection policy, slave labor in the Sea Org, etc.,...”
http://www.exscientologykids.com/anonymous.html
BTW, Operation Snow White included infilitration into the US government and destroying documents.
NOT gossip..reality about this CULT.
BTW, to clarify..some of these operations were started BEFORE John joined the cult..and he may not have known about them when he joined..but he would surely know about them now..and so would Tom Cruise because of their levels in the organization.
“At its height, the espionage system, called “Operation Snow White” by Hubbard, included up to 5,000 covert agents who were placed in government offices, foreign embassies and consulates, as well as in private organizations critical of Scientology. Hubbard even assembled a dossier on President Richard Nixon and individuals ranging from U.S. Senators to members of the Rockefeller family. “

Wow she is?
I stand corrected.
And how cool, that she is Catholic.
OK so here is my confusion.
Why did Tom Cruise public/media blast her for using an anti deppressanct?
If it is scientology practice not to use pharma for the reason she did post partum deppresion who the heck is Tom Cruise to go nutty on national tv berating Shields who as you posted is Catholic.
Like I posted I am confused why he made it his business (I heard he later apologized to her).

Tom is much more mum today about Scientology...it is unclear whether it is because he was giving them bad press with his antics and they reigned him in...or if it is because of his failing box office receipts
Even Oprah thought he acted bizarre in the infamous couch interview and she brought it up later to him in an interview.

I also saw that Travolta testified on Capitol Hill regarding religious discrimination.
And, one of the Backstreet Boys children just had Kawasaki Disease/Syndrome. He said the boy was complaining of chest pain.
Did he tell them anything about the practice of putting children in chain lockers?

Former Scientologist used a ruse to try to help Jett (my god...what a nutty organization) and was thwarted because the education part use flash cards.

He has managed to liberate some of the brainwashed.
He does say he was never told to take his child off of meds.
he also says,
“One couple who I helped liberate from the cult lost two children due to the churches negligence and disregard for safety.”
a poster claims that his info about epilepsy medicines is wrong
Its all an interesting read and one more perspective
Nothing the Clintons did would surprise me at this point. Same with all of the Rogue’s Gallery of DemocRats. I don’t put anything past them.
Yes, but when people withdraw loved ones from chemo, doesn’t that usually result from the treatment having failed and the outcome being hopeless? I don’t see the comparison with the topic at hand.
Terri Shiavo wasn’t able to make or communicate her own decision for herself even tho I do believe she wanted to live. Usually when people on chemo are ready to die they have signaled that wish to do so via a DNR or living will. Right?
It is a perfect match for them. I don’t believe Clintons are Scientologists at all. But...Scientology is a hell of a powerful organization...and has ALOT of money.
They started the quid pro quo for the John Travolta movie..and the connection could very well still be there.
He misused the State Department...but no surprise there, either.
I laughed when I found out about Hubbard’s Operation Snow White. It is like a CIA operation...
What blows my mind is that all of this started from a guy..who a lot of people claim..including his son...was a paranoid schizophrenic.
My mother did no do chemo. She already had a directive in place before she found out she had cancer. There was one point...in the hospital during one of her stays..that she thought about changing it to be resuscitated at least one time.
But she never changed the directive. point being, people can waiver while they go through the crisis of cancer.
Near the end, when she could no longer get out of the bed, she made the comment that she was just about ready to give up. She died not to much after that. We didn’t have to pull life support but she had directed no life support.
I can’t imagine how tough that would be.
Not really a point being directed at your comment..it’s just a comment.
Yes, but when people withdraw loved ones from chemo, doesnt that usually result from the treatment having failed and the outcome being hopeless? I dont see the comparison with the topic at hand.
People withdraw from chemo for many reasons. It didnt work, it was painful, it was expensive, it was dibilitating, it made things substantialy worse.
My limited understanding of this case is that the VPA was not effective anymore. That is a fact of VPA therapy for some people.
I think Shiavo was murdered. becaasue I dont think one should ever withdraw basic comfort care neccessities to the ones in our care. On the other hand I would not encourage the use of antibiotics or invasive surgeries either.
With all due respect....isn't pretty much everything discussed here on this open/public forum called Free Republic considered speculation or gossip? I mean.... that's what we do here. Sure, usually the speculation pertains to politics vs. current events re: celebrities. But hey, it's the same thing, nonetheless. Are we now to be restricted from what we can or cannot discuss by you and a few others here, just because you don't agree? And come on....the leftie-like tattling to the teach (admin mod) is a bit juvenile, don't you think?
Just sayin.....we're all supposed to be adults here. If someone posts something you don't like in a thread you have the option of ignoring it and certainly of not responding to it. As long as they're not attacking you personally it should be allowed. Right?
Well you have the right to your own, personal opinion, of course. But if or when it comes down to the issue of you withdrawing life-saving treatment or medication to a minor child of yours, the law might consider otherwise. You do see the difference there, don’t you?
I am the one getting bashed over the head with the attack hammer...and ***I**** didn’t go run to the mod ;-)
There is a lot of people who are not Scientologists who believe psychotropic drugs are being over prescribed... and certainly they do not always work... example the mother in Texas who drowned all her children.
Marie Osmond (who is a Mormon, not a Scientologist) had the same post-partum as Brooke Shields, her story is pretty well known, feared she was going to harm her baby, etc. She took some drugs for a short while, reported they made her feel horrible and ended up going to a doctor that actually took blood work to see what was going on, rather than prescribe new drugs for her. Turned out her hormones were a mess from the pregnancy. He worked to stabilize her hormonal system and she corrected without drugs. I've often wondered what they would find if doctors had approached the Texas mother in the same manner -- before she killed her babies... instead they turned her into a zombie and she still committed murder.
