Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death
John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.
John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.
Us: How is John doing?
-snip- "John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept.
-snip-
Us: Have John and Kelly spent time with anyone since everyone arrived?
Ossi and McDermott: "John and Kelly have been pretty much locked away.
"We are staying here until John leaves. The autopsy should be on Monday.
-snip-
Us: It's been reported that Jett was left alone for several hours before being discovered. Can you clarify the timeline?
Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.
Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?
Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."
Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?
Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

no.. the one nanny was a wedding photographer.... not sure if other nanny was mentioned..
yea.. hospitals would be a concern.. not sure what they can do for a bad seizure.. I think main thing would be to catch it quick.. maybe give cpr right away??
maybe some seizure experts could weigh in...
I was looking up Kawasaki disease and came across a post from an emergency room physician, who said that no way did the kid’s symptoms match Kawasaki disease or syndrome and that it was irresponsible of the family to put out this story because it’s going to scare parents into running to the emergency room thinking that their kid is going to die from a seizure.
He said that it was more likely autism and who knows what killed him, but not a seizure.
from what i understand.. I am not a dr...
but he actually did die from a seizure.. but its very highly unlikely that kawasaki disease caused the seizure..
and it seems likely that autism caused the seizure... though that is harder to say without seeing all the medical records...
but.. also Scientology does not believe in autism.. and the Travoltas have vehemently denied that Jett had autism despite many other people saying that was likely what he had based on their observations of Jett..
I believe in freedom for parents to determine the treatment of their children. There are personally situations which I feel are tragic and I would never have made those choices PERSONALLY, but I thank G-d for the freedoms we have to allow us all to make parenting decisions according to our highest sense of Right.
Let's put it like this. If there were a medication that could cure a deathly ill child, but it might instead hasten death, in your world, MUST a parent use it? By the way, this actually occurs with various chemotherapies every day.
Are you OK with the parent refusing to use this drug?
What if there were a medication that USUALLY helps the deathly ill recover, but in RARE occasions brings on severe irreversable brain damage? MUST the parent choose this?
Who would play G-d and say WHICH school of medical thought, WHICH drug company's claims, WOULD HAVE TO BE OBEYED in order to not be arrested as an abusive parent for refusing to administer it to your child?
What a ghastly world we would live in, when the decisions for one's care were NOT in the hands of those who love one best.
Nothing is perfect. Like the death penalty, our court of law can be fallible in sentencing. We have to risk an innocent person being put to death by the state, if we want to make use of that punishment.
We have to risk some poor decisions by some parents in order to protect freedoms for ALL PARENTS. It is completely worth it.
what if there is a medication if given saves a child’s life.. if not given the child dies...
and a mentally ill mother chooses not to give the child the medication?
I bet you are wrong. He was a wedding photographer. He was a Scientologist.
thank god other countries are closely scrutizining this cult.

And I suppose those on this thread feel that it is okay to hide Kyle Brennan’s PRESCRIPTION PSYH MEDS in a truck...and after the boy is found...not call the paramedics..but call SCIENTOLOGY..and wait for handlers to show up BEFORE they call the EMTs.
Jetts symptoms are those that might have been seen if the child had just gone through their ridiculous Detox program. But they could have also been the result of many other things.
And you see another split in the propaganda machine. Kelly said that she detoxed him to get rid of poisons etc.
The leader of the church just said it is a spiritual detox only. Of course he is lying...that it not how they promote it.
There is an interesting interview by Kelly where she claims years and years of suntanning where lifted out of her body by the detox.
People are taking what the Travoltas AND SCIENTOLOGY have said at face value..without looking deeper into it.
There are people that are familiar with Kawasaki Syndrome and spokespeople for the disease that are troubled with the false information that is being put out there by the Scientologists about the disease.
It is a fine line to walk...but one that MUST be walked..especially when you have parents with their OWN mental disabilities, low IQ, brainwashing from a cult etc.
This is about how parents, who are brainwashed by Scientology, withold necessary medical treatment.
And the depth of concern should be RAISED after this incident when people step back and see how the propaganda machines is claiming to the PUBLIC things that are much different than what they practice?
WHY?????
Because they know...that authorities and future recruits might have a problem with it. They are in lawsuit after lawsuit after prosecution after prosecution for their practices.
John Travolta should not get a pass just because his son died ...ESPECIALLY because his son died..and because he is famous.
Unfortunately, it happened in the Bahamas..so there won’t be the kind of investigation there would have been had it happened in the US. Wecht said that that couldn’t possibly have come up with death from Seizure this soon...and of course, no one can look at the boy’s liver because he has been cremated.
If one bothers to read JUDGES across the world who have heard the evidence, or former Scientologists..it is easy to see why some people think it is evil.including me.
I don’t think I have EVER read that an Amish person is evil.
But the same scrutiny should be done with them if the same thing happened to one of their children...whether the Amish person was famous or not. \
Look at poor Kyle Brennans mother. What if one parent is the Scientologist and one isn’t. Who’s belief governs? The sick father hid and locked up his childs PRESCRIBED psych meds ..and the kid ends up dead.
They don’t believe they face Judgement Day. Their religion is about aliens.
I believe that homosexuality plays a big part in Scientology’s blackmail schemes.
Every single detail of a persons life is revealed in those auditing sessions..and gives the Church a lot of power.
And evidently, homosexuality plays a big part in their recruitment.
Well...the Bible does say there will be many false prophets, especially in the end days. But who woulda thunk that a nut like Hubbard would be among that undistinguished group. Then again, Jim Jones qualifies...so why not Ron. The sad part is how these false prophets lead so many weak-minded and spiritually weak individuals to their spiritual doom. Expect a much lowered value placed on human life from now on. I also think things will continue to get worse much faster than they have in the past.
Are you surprised that Clinton helped the Scientologists? What did he do and what did he get in return?
Take a guess.
Now see the story.
Keep in mind..that Clinton has access to all of those FBI files on Hubbard..and still yet......

“Your program makes a splendid impression. In view of the problems which they have had in Germany, I would be glad to help you.”
William Jefferson Clinton
What remained unanswered was what issues of foreign and security policy could have interested a group of Scientologists?

And who is up next for Secretary of State?????
Hmmmmm....Clinton.

Even close friends were left to draw their own conclusions about the boy who shared his fathers famous ocean-blue eyes but rarely made eye contact with outsiders; the young man who often smiled but was never heard speaking; the teen who loved the water, golf cart rides and airplanes but who needed round-the-clock supervision wherever he went.
“John and Kelly never discussed his physical condition with me,” says their friend, actress Anne Archer. “I observed that he was significantly mentally handicapped. ... John always communicated to him as if Jett could completely understand him. ... It was a kind of sweet exchange, where he was just happy with anything that Jett offered. Anything.”

To lose a child after illness is especially difficult for Scientologists, Kauffman adds, because they believe 70 percent of disease is psychosomatic.
“If you are sick,” Hines says, “you definitely have something you need to deal with on a mental and spiritual level.
“The other possibility,” says Kent, “is to believe the thetan had some issues in past lives that it was working out by incarnating in a challenged body.”
In Jett’s case, Kauffman concludes, the challenge was seizures.

Let’s hope that Jett finds a good life when he went to the hospital to find the new body...
I forgot to add...for those of you that don’t know...Anne Archer is a member of Scientology and is the mother of the Scientology spokesperson...Tommy Davis...
which makes her comments stunning....
By the way, what she describes as Jett’s behavior is that of some who have autism...also could be other issues...
But to use the term “mentally handicapped” from the mother of the PR Spokesperson from Scientology is quite an eye opener.
So then.... you were one of the liberal-minded individuals that agreed with the slow starvation of Terri Shiavo, eh? Got it.
No as a matter of fact I found the murder of Shiavo to be one of the lowest points in American moral life. There is a huge difference between withholding normal comfort and sustance and not initiating or withdrawing medicines or treatments. We withdraw medications all the time, from chemo...
I didnt write what you copied.
I was responding to it. My response was as follows
There are worse things than death.
Or are you so afraid of death that you have to stave it off at all costs.
I think, that at times, the costs are too high. I am not talking about money here. I am talking about what the child has to go through.
