Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death

John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.

John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.

Us: How is John doing?

-snip- "John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept.

-snip-

Us: Have John and Kelly spent time with anyone since everyone arrived?

Ossi and McDermott: "John and Kelly have been pretty much locked away.

"We are staying here until John leaves. The autopsy should be on Monday.

-snip-

Us: It's been reported that Jett was left alone for several hours before being discovered. Can you clarify the timeline?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.

Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."

Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?

Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

-snip-

I had read about the cult years ago but I never saw the stuff you posted in that animated graphic. What a loony bunch of hooey! And supposedly intelligent people join this group???

As far as Tom Cruise goes, I used to like him before he went bonkers on Oprah’s show (see Scary Movie 4 ending). And the silent birth thingy made me cringe. But that’s all fine and dandy since they’re not hurting anyone else with their “religion”. But this withholding treatment stuff is another matter.

The “cult of death” seems to be widening its’ scope from the DemocRats and mere politics. And now that I think about it, that damned judge (Greer) that legally murdered Shiavo was a Scientologist too. That ahole has a special spit in hell waiting for him, no doubt!

“Davis, the Scientology spokesman, acknowledged the detoxification program, but said its benefits are spiritual.”

Ooopps City of New York..you have been scammed out of your money by Cruise and Scientology

http://www.slate.com/id/2108471/

This comment by the spokesperson is going to come back and haunt him big time.

“There are reports AROUND THE WORLD questioning what happened to that poor boy”

its funny the foreign press seems to be reporting it more than the American press...

A comment on a foreign press article.. said the same thing.. and said maybe its because us Americans are so into Movie Stars...

The press really should be aggressive on this story....

It’s a shame that some people get either so deluded or so trapped (I’ve heard it’s harder to quit the Scientologists than it is to quit the Mafia) that they end up hurting themselves or their loved ones due to their bad choices or naivete. Still, I hope the Travoltas consider what has happened and choose to quit the cult. If they can.

My 2 cents.

Medical care is private. Hopefully.

Why does a famous person in the media eye have to post what medical care they give their child?

The Scientology thing is creepy but one has to wonder how much that had to do with the medical care they gave their child.

My heart hurts for them. They are parents and their child is dead.

I think, thank God it was not my child.

Just because they are famous, must they open up the childs medical records?

It is easier to judge I guess.

Actually, they are hurting other people. For example, they scammed money out of the City of New York. See my previous post.
And they got busted by the FBI in a scheme to try to have a reporter/author institutionalized...by impersonating her ..and claiming she was making bomb threats..etc.

It really is hard to believe that people fall for this stuff..but they prey on the weak..and once they have got you...look out.....

A former auditor of Nicole Kidman did an interview and said how he was told to write down everything from auditing sessions. The reporter asked if there were things in there that would hurt celebrities. He said yes.

(The church has been accused of blackmail.)
A spokesman for the church claimed that the auditor that was interviewed never had contact with Nicole.

I always figured that the hold on Travolta was his homosexuality..only to find out that they use it as a recruiting tool.

I got to thinking about Sterns wondering where Travolta got all that money.

And then I started to think about where does all that money go. ..and it is alot.....

Read the lawsuit that I posted over using Travolta as a Homosexuality recruitment tool. It is a shocker. I take it with a grain of salt since it is a lawsuit..but...I am sure some of it is true.

Well, there are some that believe that God alone and prayer can cue all ills. To my knowledge, I haven’t seen any Christian Scientists prosecuted for the deaths of their children or loved ones due to denial of medical treatment. That’s probably why the Scientologists get by with what they do. That doesn’t stop me from seeing how wrong it is though.

We’re seeing a growing and insidious increase in this culture of death that is usually pushed and supported by hard-core leftists. Of course, since most of Hollyweird is leftist, one could almost presume that the actors that are Scientologists are simply another branch or arm of that same death culture.

It’s scary how things seem to be escalating towards evil so fast these days. I wonder if there will even be a few of us left that still can tell the difference between right and wrong....in another 4-5 years.

You are viewing it from the wrong perspective.

Just because they are famous does not mean they should NOT be questioned about this..just as the father of Kyle Brennan ,,,who hid his psychiatric medicine in the truck ,,,should have been questioned.

And just like Brennans father,, I wonder if Travolta called Scientology first. It wasn’t a low level Scientologist that showed up to clean up the mess of Brennan’s death... There is a very weird timeline in Jett’s death and an interesting flight plan during the time in question of one of Travolta’s planes.

I havent really done any research other than I know that there are neglect statutes that cover this..and I believe there are procedures in place if someone refuses necessary emergency medical care for a minor.

I don’t know if I’d believe that John is gay or even that the Scientologists could blackmail him because he was. Hell, in Hollyweird, it’s practically a badge of honor now to be bisexual or gay. That’s just how far the country’s morality has slipped into the sewer. No doubt our forefathers are rolling over, writhing and screaming in their graves as we speak.

He claims they used John’s FORMER homosexuality as a recruitment tool and is suing them because they didn’t cure his homosexuality as they claim they did with John

I believe that part. I don’t think he is making that up.

Now was John gay or were they just claiming it for recruitment. Probably gay.

Travolta will not have to open up their child’s medical records.. unless their is enough suspicion by the police.. to believe that some sort of medical negligence was involved.. and even then since they were in the bahamas at the time.. they may not have jurisdiction..

but the same rules apply to stars as everyone else..

Though just by being in Scientology a group that is very anti certain medications.. including it seems anti-seizure medication.. it raises a bit of suspicion right there...

But You are probably right.. people may never know what really happened as the events took place out of U.S. jurisdiction...

No. I do realize what you are pointing out. Very much so. I live in area with Amish, Mennonites and a few other “different” ideas. They are entitled, not that I understand by a long shot. Though the Amish and Mennonites get excellent care here.

I am taking this angle from being a mom. If this was my child and I had the thought process they did....

I could not live with myself.

Let them grieve. It is their right and should be personal.

This thread has been ugly, my heart goes to the family. They have to live with what they thought may have been right.

Their decision does not effect my personal life, does it yours? I think they need to be left to their grief in peace. They have to live with their decisions.

Does that make sense?

well.. as far as christian scientists go... I am not so sure that people haven’t been convicted...

and i know that people all the time are found to have committed medical neglect for not getting the medically recommended prescriptions.. or not taking children to the doctor.. or various other things..

this is not criminal medical neglect.. but can get a child removed from their home... that happens all the time..

From what I have read...lol, TMZ, et al.

The boy was on anti seizure meds until they did not work any longer.
That is proven, the meds (certain ones) only last for so long.

I am by a long shot not buying into the Scienidiot thing.

The one thing I am strong about...if my child had an illness that would need immediate care, I would never leave the USA. No doubt, no question.

Your viewpoint. NOT MINE. This consistent idea on this thread that someone died..ohhhh let them grieve..dont dare question...is not something I subscribe to...and I bet many here who are criticizing acted differently when it pertained to Terry Schiavo or various other people...how about Anna Nicole Smith when her son died..did you go to that thread and tell people they were ugly for daring to question what really took place?

The mother was a mess over that death. How many on this site spents WEEKS talking about that?

You don’t have to talk about it. You don’t have to question it. But don’t call me names because I do question it. I am not calling people here names who say yeah..go head and let a kid die..that’s life.

Or yeah sure..look the kid in the eye and tell him you have to let him die because of your religious belief..and so on.

well.. i hate to criticize Travolta himself.. as people get so upset about it.. but.. he is not reading this..

so..

I think that I may leave the country with a child with his condition... but I would have a health care worker come with us and monitor him.. especially if i had a lot of money...

Well, I’ve heard rumors about Cruise too in that regard...ergo the breakup with Nicole.

Bottom line though, I don’t give a DemRat’s @ss if they ARE gay or not. It’s not like they’re politicians IN OFFICE and it’s not like their sexual proclivities effect me and my life in any way. And they alone are responsible for the care and/or killing of their own soul.

I do believe that everyone makes their own hell and chooses their own eternal destiny. Truth to tell, I feel sorry for them. Despite all those millions of dollars and fancy homes...they’re still just human and will have to face the same Judgement Day that we all will some day. And all that money could, and in many or most cases does, cause them to end up in hell (separated from God) whether due to greed, blind ambition or just being misguided. Sad.

My point was the hospitals.

All I read have been “nanny”. I bet a dollar for a donut they had extensive medical schooling.

I do not know what to say. That religion...not, whatever.

They are parents and it is obvious that they love their children. How often have their pics been in the mags?

My heart really hurts for any parent that looses a child. As a parent, I can not say much else.
