Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death

John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.

John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.

Us: How is John doing?

-snip- "John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept.

-snip-

Us: Have John and Kelly spent time with anyone since everyone arrived?

Ossi and McDermott: "John and Kelly have been pretty much locked away.

"We are staying here until John leaves. The autopsy should be on Monday.

-snip-

Us: It's been reported that Jett was left alone for several hours before being discovered. Can you clarify the timeline?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.

Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."

Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?

Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

-snip-

NO!!!!!!!! You are WRONG! You are suggesting that we have a right to know the personal inner workings of this child's illness and his death. All we deserve to know is was he murdered or some other foul play... and the coroner has spoken and said he died of a seizure and he did not die of a blow to the head. He was not cut off from medical care, he was a Scientologist, not a Christian Scientist. In fact, he was seen by doctors around the world to try and find a cure for his seizures... AND emerging information this evening indicate he did not have autism, his behavior was due to his long term seizure disorder.

Now. take you hate of religion somewhere else.

So you believe, that a MINOR, who has no say so, DIES because his parents believe in a religion, THAT HE HAS NO SAY SO IN....is perfectly acceptable?

Then do you believe in abortion?

I believe his doctor when his doctor said the child took Depakote and then his neurologists in consult with the parents determined it was no longer working and they took him off of that drug. In addition, many times when someone is being taken off a drug they cannot start another drug until this drug is out of their system. People who take Depakote have to have their levels very carefully monitored, BTW., with frequent blood work.

I say that in our world children and their moral and spiritual upbringing is the responsiblility of the parents.

Not the state. I have seen more harm done when children are taken away from their parents for a host of health situaions.

So stop being the drama queen and settle down.

I do not believe abortion is morally correct and fight against it.

Arisona,

I don’t, either. The Mormons are FINE people. Many, many people who belong to particular denominations are FINE folks. That’s my point. It’s the ones who are ABUSING our very system in the US who I have a problem with. They are under the ‘almighty governmental umbrella’. They may do to their parishioners as they wish......and get a free ride to boot......all in the name of ‘religion’. They can get by under the ‘other umbrella’ called ‘political correctness’.

Let me ask you. Do you think Sharia law is O.K. in the US?

Where do we, as US citizens, need to draw the line?

What doctor said he took Depakote? Name please. Or is this information from the lawyer?

So since you believe he took Depakote,..then you also believe that the Travoltas are not against drugs for mental disorders? Is that right?

"Once again you are spinning webs, they are NOT against epilepsy medications, in fact he was given Depakote which, if you knew anything about medicine, is a drug given for Bi-Polar disorders which IS a mental disorder... if the Travolta family was against drugs for mental disorders - - which Epilepsy and Grand Mal Seizures are not BTW — they would never have allowed Jett to take Depakote. We get that you hate anything and anyone Scientologist, and another Freeper gave you a link where your ranting is welcome..."

This is not fairyland and I dont “believe” anything about this case. VPA levels can be ascertained. But if the parents thought it was a poor medication for their child, for whatever reason, I dont have a problem with them discontinuing it.

VPA can be a very nasty and sometime useless drug for some people.

Was the Doctor on Nancy Grace and stated that Jett took Depakote? Exactly who has stated that Jett took Depakote other than the lawyer?

Oh, I see, you meant he saw doctors around the world for his seizures..yet the Travoltas still claim that Kawasaki Syndrome caused the seizures.

Who said he saw Doctors around the world?

I am interested who is saying what...because I know that the spin machine will be in full force...Scientology has alot of cash riding on this.

is a drug given for Bi-Polar disorders which IS a mental disorder...

VPA is actually an anti-seizure drug that is used in the bipolar spectrum disorders.

I dont know much about this story but the Kawasaki disorder can cause cardiac issues and subsequent brain damage.

It is relevant what Arizona Carolyn believes because she also believes that the Travoltas would not give their child Depakote if they were against psych meds.

In the Church of scientology literature, THEY call it an antipsychotic drug. One such literature is from CCHR...a front for Scientology and a group that involves Kelly Preston.

Using Depakote goes against the Scientology religion.

The question is did Travolta REALLY go against Scientology religion or was it a fabrication spin.
